Our two divisions, Lyndon Tree Care and Valley Landscape Design, offer year-​round commercial and residential services, including tree removal, all aspect of pruning, tree planting, fertilizing, land clearing, stump grinding, as well as site-​specific landscape design and installation, brick and stone work, large– and small-​scale plantings, and water features. Winter services are plowing (Northampton/​Florence only) and roof snow removal.

We are ISA Certified Arborists, and we care about your trees.

History

Established in 2010.

Lyndon Tree Care prioritizes safety, quality of work, and education for our clients. Trees are of high value to our landscape and lives, and it is our mission to preserve that value through preventative care and treatment. When a tree simply has to come down, our goal is still to provide an honest and thorough assessment of risk, health, and aesthetics to help clients get the most out of their properties.

Our services also include landscape and hardscape design and installation. Jeremy Kappenman leads this division, bringing a high level of knowledge and skill to our team. He has managed large and small projects using a wide variety of local materials, always working directly with clients to customize each project according to their needs. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Design from UMass, with a concentration in Landscape Studies.

Business Owner

Owner Cory Lyndon Lester is a graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and a UMass Urban Forestry graduate. He has received several national industry awards, including the TREE Fund’s Robert Felix Memorial Scholarship in 2011.
