Plainview Farm Landscape Division creates personalized landscapes for homeowners and businesses. We provide meticulous lawn care and other grounds maintenance services, using organic methods.

History

Established in 1984.

We began as a small landscape services company with the goal of building a nursery where we could grow top quality perennials. Perennials have always been the specialty here and our passion. Annuals, trees, shrubs, edible plants and herbs are all available, of course. The Farm has been featured in regional publications, giving us a regional clientele. We are now a destination for avid gardeners from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

The landscape services and grounds maintenance division of our business continues to thrive with many customers dating back to the ’80’s! We are proud of our relationship with those longterm clients.

Business Owner

We started careers in public education and after several years, switched focus to another love — horticulture. Working with gardeners is a bit different than 7^th graders! We enjoy helping others learn about plants and acquire, for themselves, our love of gardening. We have planted 25 gardens (give or take) here on the property so others can share the beauty of plants. These are open to the public, at no charge, and offer respite and peace to all those who visit.
