Vynex Window Systems, Inc. manufactures heavy-​duty, multi-​chambered, extruded, vinyl windows. Our vinyl windows offer maximum thermal efficiency and provides year-​round comfort.

Through our years of production, we have become specialists on the repair side of windows as well. We fix ALL makes and models of windows, no matter how old.

History

Established in 1975.

In 1974, Jim Mauro Sr. brought the first lineal vinyl extruder to the United States from Germany. He began to make vinyl extrusions at Poly-​tex. Vynex Window Systems Inc. was the first fabricator of the first all tubular vinyl window, which is the vinyl window as we know it today.

In the early 80’s Poly-​tex was acquired by, what is known today as, Chelsea Building Products. Vynex Window Systems Inc. is still purchasing vinyl extrusions from Chelsea Building Products as well as manufacturing, distributing and installing quality vinyl windows to Western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas to this day.

Vynex Window Systems Inc. has ALWAYS been a Pittsburgh-​based manufacturer. Originally spreading our roots on East Ohio St. in Pittsburgh and moving in 1985 to 40^th St. in Lawrenceville where the business flourished until 2013.

Vynex Window Systems Inc. is now located in North Versailles, PA where we continue to manufacture the same quality products that we always have since 1975.

Business Owner

Fred Mauro is the current owner and operator of Vynex Window Systems and has been working with the company since 1976. Vynex has always been a Pittsburgh-​based and family operated business.

First starting with Vynex in 1976, he focused heavily on the service and sales portion of the business bringing in business from all over the country.

In 1998, Fred took over Vynex Windw Systems Inc. and still focuses today on the same core values the company was created upon.
