History

Established in 2010.

I have been teaching since 2001. My teaching career began in a universal pre-kindergarten program that I ran in Wilson, New York. My experience also includes teaching English at the middle and high school levels in Barker and Oracle Charter School in Buffalo, New York. Throughout my tenure as a teacher in the public school system I have always taught my students basic computer skills – starting in pre-K!

Now I am The Net Cracker, spending my days with the most fun, entertaining people I know – Senior Citizens! Last spring after a friend of mine suggested that I continue my teaching career with a business teaching senior citizens how to use the computer, I got started right away. Knowing how frustrating it is for seniors who often suffer from e-exclusion, I was very excited to help them connect to the digital world. They are able to access the information they need and communicate with their loved ones on a daily basis with the Internet.

We have fun «cracking» the internet together!

Meet the Business Owner

Kim T.

Business Owner

Kim Tomaszewski taught in the public school system in WNY for 11 years. In 2010, at the suggestion of a colleague who knew of her affinity for golden agers, she started The Net Cracker in an effort to help those seniors who were on the other side of the digital divide to cross over and become computer literate.

Tomaszewski is greatly loved by her students and she is happiest when she is playing with them on the computer.
