Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York

DO NOT go here! It’s the worst one to go to by far! You will wait way too long even if you are the FIRST appointment of the day. They are also very disorganized and lose stuff easily! The receptions are rude and the one doctor was so lazy she had to sit in a chair thats for patients not to give me my shot so I couldn’t lean against something to help the pain of the shot. It’s also not the cleanest. Go to west Seneca one! It’s way better.

I come to Planned Parenthood because they were my doctor before I had health insurance, and at this point it’s become a habit.
Unfortunately at this location they are completely disorganized. I have to fill out a new patient form every time I come in because they can’t find my chart. They keep me waiting over an hour even when I’ve scheduled the first appointment of the day; I sit in the waiting room watching the staff trickle in slowly, long after my appointment time has come and gone. Appointments start at 9am but not a single patient is seen until a little after 10.
What is really annoying is not the wait though. It’s the attitude you’re subjected to AFTER the wait. When I politely asked what a certain piece of requested information was needed for, instead of actually giving me an answer I got a Look (capital L) and my question repeated back to me with a heavy level of sarcastic disbelief. «*What for?*… For your *chart.*»
A long wait is annoying but usually understandable. A rude attitude when you’re asking basic questions about personal information in a doctor’s office is completely uncalled for.
I think that Planned Parenthood as a national organization does a lot of good. I donate money to them, and in theory support them 100%. At this location, though, they make it really really hard. On the bright side, my last visit motivated me to find a ‘real’ doctor.
