Oliver St. Bakery

This is a small bakery on Oliver Street (hence the name) in North Tonawanda. Near the Farmers Market. I noticed it a few weeks ago driving by on the way to the Farmers Market. Then at the market I saw they have a booth. So i picked up a slice of their bread covered in tomato sauce. Heated later in the day at home it was terrific. But I added some mozeralla and oregano and used the broiler.
That slice was enough to get me into the bakery itself the next Sat. It’s a cute shop. Mostly Italian type of baked goods, breads and desserts both. I picked up some bread, Italian white, it was good. We don’t eat that type of bread often but we enjoyed this loaf a lot.
I’ll be back to try some other things. They have been around for a long time and have a loyal following I think.
