Jacobs Ladder provides the most efficient exercise for those serious about conditioning. Unlike most cardio machines, this patented treadmill climber utilizes low impact, high range of motion exercise to provide a superior cardio workout to both the upper and lower body.
Jacobs Ladder is an innovative cardio machine with ladder-type rungs on a non-motorized continuous treadmill. It’s self-paced, so the faster you go, the faster it goes. Jacobs Ladder is preferred by pro football teams, the FBI, the Army, the Navy, West Point and numerous Division I universities to improve their strength and conditioning programs.
History
Established in 2004.
Jacobs Ladder was developed by Steve Nichols, a former Western N.Y. fitness champion. His participation in strenuous physical activity left him with severe back and knee problems that threatened to keep him from the conditioning he was accustomed to with traditional gym equipment. Because of his physical challenges, Steve began seeking alternative gym equipment to allow him to maintain his conditioning goals without encouraging further injury.
Gradually the Jacobs Ladder began to take shape and when it was completed the new exercise was so effective Steve decided to sell the cardio machine.
Jacobs Ladder has proven its effectiveness to fitness professionals around the country.
Now the next generation of the Jacobs Ladder is available for use by fitness professionals, gyms and their clients. With a commitment to product excellence, and the ability to provide a «One of a Kind» full body exercise, We promises you won’t find a more complete or effective single piece of gym equipment.
Meet the Business Owner
Bob P.
Business Owner
Bob’s philosophy on business is simple. «Business is not about making money, increasing revenue or cutting costs. Business is about one thing: creating value for customers and doing it better than anyone else on the globe. Once you stop increasing that value, you are on your way out of business».
After gaining extensive experience in manufacturing, quality engineering and design from some of the most respected companies in the world, Bob acquired the Jacobs Ladder patent and manufacturing equipment in July of 2004. Bob’s background as an All-America athlete at Penn State University drew him to the uniqueness of the Jacobs Ladder design and functionality.
Since then, Bob has created a team that has made improvements in design to make Jacobs Ladder more reliable, self-powered, more user-friendly and quieter. Jacobs Ladder LLC continues to make improvements in all of the value that they offer the customer, from sales order processing to delivery and service.
