History
Established in 1979.
Our chief instructor first brought karate and weaponry skills back from Okinawa in 1979 after being stationed in Japan as a U.S. Marine. After return trips to Okinawa, and by bringing our teachers to Rhode Island, we established ourselves as a resource for those seeking authentic martial arts. Back on Okinawa in 2006 we were asked to teach Palace Hand (Motobu Udundi) here in America by Taira sensei and Takamiyagi sensei. We have been teaching authentic martial arts in northern Rhode Island for 34 years.
