Satisfied. I went in to get some protein after a workout. I’d never been here before. I walked in and yell, «I want protein!» The young lady working the counter aptly yelled back, «What KIND of protein?!» It was at that point, I knew I’d come to the right place. I was used to buying a house brand from online, so I didn’t know which one tasted good. She guided me through my purchase, while multitasking a store full of other guests. I didn’t think to get her name, but she was young, Hispanic, and cute! PLEASEADDAPPLEPAYSUPPORT!

I’ve visited GNC various times and have always had the same results with sales associates attempting to sell me endless things. I visited this location expecting the same as GNC, but was shocked with the knowledge the sales associate(Freddie) had in reference to the store. He helped me and my wife with our endless questions and his recommendations and suggestions. Really knew his stuff and was very helpful!!!

I went here to get stocked up on my vitamins and supplements for training. The salesman was very friendly and helpful with all of my questions. The prices are pretty reasonable for most things here as well.

I would rather drive to Oak Brook or Chicago than have to come back to this location — these people have no clue about customer service or retaining customers! If they are following their ‘company policy’ and not honoring discounts in this day and age — good luck keeping the doors open adn shame on the Corporate morons at Vitamin Shoppe! I buy Quest nutrition bars on a regular basis. I often don’t have time to order online because it takes 4 days to get them, so I am forced to drive to either Logan Blvd and Elston, which is on my way home from work, or Villa Park/Oak Brook — which is too far West, or here at 22nd and Harlem, which is still a pain, but it is closer. I buy the boxes and not the individual bars, so it’s not like I am a «onsie twosie» customer and they are sold 12 per box and are not cheap. The first time my blood pressure exceeded the safe limit was when I called and asked if the bars I wanted were in stock, and when I got there, there were not! The 2nd time I went I forgot my coupon — he said it’s store policy, and they cannot honor it if I don’t have the coupon, so I drove to Oakbrook despite spending the 10% in gas I would have saved with the coupon, but I was not going to give this moron the sale! Oak Brook honored the discount! That guy is apparently no longer at this location. And guess what? I got ANOTHER coupon in my mailbox for the same damn offer after I returned from Oak Brook — so it’s not like their coupons are a rarity! I called the Berwyn location a few weeks after that and spoke to a female who was apparently his replacement. Seemed nice, bought my bars, and left. The next time I was waiting at the counter while one employee was talking the whom I think was the manager, behind a partition, telling her that he is only«$ 20 away from the days sales target,» needless to say, my sale would ensure their making their daily sales goal since it was almost time to close so I yelled, Hello? Can I buy something now? There are customers in your store…“ When I went to pay for the box of bars that were $ 27 they too would not honor my discount because I forgot the coupon at home by mistake. Once again, I was told it was standard policy — so guess what, here is my STANDARDPOLICYFORTHEVITAMINSHOPPE, and especially the BERWYNLOCATION! I JUSTBOUGHT2 boxes from I Suppliments online and for less money than what you sell them for, so I will not be coming back. This store opened recently, and to my knowledge, I don’t think anyone has been knocking down the doors to get in, so, I will be one less person they will need to serve, and one less person who will assist in making their daily sales quota… that’s my Standard Policy… Bubye now!
