I was at a cross road in my life. I recently moved here from Nebraska and I had to leave my grandmother with my brother. He is 42 and he just sits around the house playing halo and drinking Mountain Dew. What’s the worse that can happen? Well one day I get a call and she’s in the hospital. I couldn’t take any vacation or leave of absence from my new position at work so I had him go check on her. Apparently he was too busy playing halo and getting diabetes to drive the 5 miles. Sure enough she passed away and the only thing that can make me feel again is my friend Jack. He is always at Pit Stop and he is the only one that can heal the hole in my stomach. Unfortunately Pit Stop was out of Jack one day hence the 4 stars.

We ordered the tandoori chicken wings when we first first tried this bar. They were pretty good and the bartender was nice enough… the rest of the people were locals and there is definitely a problem of over serving here. That’s why they get 3 stars. Too much alcohol was served to most of the patrons.

Looking for a sports bar in the TCCNE area of North Richland Hills & Hurst? Give Pitstop a once over. Beers, wells, and top shelf drinks are there to cater to just about any drink order. Three pool tables and a few arcade games provide ways to have done game-time with friends. TVs are displaying live sports feeds. The menu is pure pub food: Burgers, wings, fried stuff, and so on. I went for the Tandoori-flavored wings. There are about a dozen or so standard wing flavorings. I’m not a lover of super fiery hot flavors. The Tandoori flavor turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s flavorful and delightful on the tongue, but not super hot or spicy. The wings are of the bone-in variety, and each order is freshly made to order. The garnish of celery stalks was firm and crunchy, but the attempt to add pizzazz by leaving the celery leaves on one stalk fell flat to the forces of lack of turgor pressure. I also ordered a side of potato wedges. They were freshly sliced and fried and were a good accompaniment to the wings. For folks who opine that this is a family-friendly establishment, I would agree only if your definition of that term encompasses kids hanging around serious bar patrons who enjoy cigarettes with their alcohol. Pitstop has the making of a neighborhood bar. For better and otherwise.

New in town and this place is one of the better places I’ve been to. Good number of pool tables, clean restrooms, bartender was great! Owner took the time to speak to my friend and I… totally down to earth!.. no smoking inside! :)

Raw chicken in my salad. On top of that it was an eight dollar salad with iceberg lettuce and tomato only! They even forgot to put the dressing. Beware. If I get sick I’ll be suing. Btw i will be calling the health department first thing Monday morning.

It has been newly remodeled. The atmosphere is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They have expanded their patio area and the patio is smoke friendly but the inside does not allow smoking. The burgers and fries are very good but the wings seemed dried and it took forever to get our food. Overall, I would recommend this place to my friends and family for good drinks, good food and a good time.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. My new favorite bar! The Tandoori chicken wings and Grilled Chicken Sandwich on Texas toast are my two favorites.
