Intellispect Property Inspection Group president Rod Figueroa is a very experienced inspector with over 5500 homes inspected (in DFW) over the past eleven years. The company specializes in new construction inspections (pre-​pour, framing, final and end-​of-​builder-​warranty inspections) and the inspection of large estate properties. Intellispect inspects new and previously owned homes of all sizes, age and condition. Our inspectors have the highest level of licensing that the state of Texas offers and are code-​certified by the leading building code authority, the International Code Council (ICC). History

Established in 2002.

The Intellispect business model was designed in 2001 and the company opened for business in 2002 by Rod Figueroa. The company was planned to provide a professional, comprehensive inspection experience for home buyers. Careful development of a systematic inspection and report-​writing process was going to provide buyers with something that the local industry lacked; a super-​detailed inspection with meticulous reporting to provide useful comments and visual documentation of issues and issue locations. Many hundreds of hours of continuing education later coupled with the experience of many thousands of inspections, Intellispect now finds itself as one of the respected leaders of the local inspection industry.

Business Owner

With more than two decades of sales, operational and management experience owning and operating manufacturing and service businesses, Rod Figueroa has developed a sharp eye for how service businesses get bloated with inefficiencies and miscommunication. As an entrepreneur who built a successful manufacturing company from a one-​person business to a business with two locations and over 40 employees, Rod learned how to develop and continually refine processes to duplicate excellent service for clients over and over. This experience was applied to the inspection business when Intellispect was first developed.

Intellispect client properties range from small condos to lavish estates with over 15,000 SF of living space. Commercial client buildings range from 2500 SF to 250,000 SF. Clients range from first-​time buyers to company CEO’s with extensive real estate holdings. Intellispect commercial clients include JPS HealthStarbucks, Walgreens, Optimum Foncier, DART and LaQuinta Hotels.
