. A warm, friendly and inviting place. I stumble upon this plae over a year ago and glad I did. The yoga classes are amazing and I especially love their monthly events… my husband and I have both done massages here and had a great expeience! Kuan has even treated my son who has special needs and he is amazing and so patient with him. For overall wellness this is THE place to go.

I have always been a believer in Eastern medicine and Kuan has only served to reinforce my confidence in the healing arts. Maybe it was my recent diagnosis of Type 2 Diabtes and associated feet now and leg circulation issues that led me to Tai Chi Accupuncture & Welness Center, but it was the dialogue with Kuan that keeps me coming (along with my body feeling more vital).
While Kuan is a man of few words, the ones he does speak resonates so deep that it has enhanced my experience. I have done Tai Chi and meditation for years, and his knowledge base of techniques and focused thinking is directly aligned with my own. This experience has been much more than just placing a bunch of needles in the appropriate zones… I feel more spiritually alive than I have in years, and this enhanced awareness has helped me focus on my daily activities with reduced anxiety and stress.
Please give Kuan and his wonderful office a try if you have ailments of any kind, whether they be mental or physical. My insurance (Harvard Pilgrim) covers up to 12 visits per year at $ 20 per visit. My wife comes with me every week and gets a healing message. We feel fortunate that we have found such an oasis in the middle of the suburbs. Thank you, my friend.

I purchased a groupon for a massage otherwise I’d never known this place existed. I’ve had my fair share of massages and many have been not so impressive. However, Anibeliz is not that kind of masseuse. She was nothing short of amazing. Honestly, I’ve been fantasizing about winning the lottery so I can start my day off with a hand and foot massage. I can’t wait to get back!

It was almost the New Year and my husband and I were discussing adding something new to our schedule for 2015. We spoke of some possibilities such as yoga, a dance class or possibly Tai Chi. We looked on line and found theTai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center in North Reading. There were many very good reviews about this place so we called and made and appointment to speak with Kuan, the instructor of the Tai Chi class. Once we arrived at the office/​studio we knew we were on to something. You immediately feel relaxed with the clean comfortable space with the soft relaxing music and aromas. We had a brief meeting with Kuan and we decided to sign up for his free introductory class. After the first session of Tai Chi we were hooked. The class has taught us some skills in relaxation, movement of energy, balance due to root training and 13 moves of the Tai Chi Form. We feel privileged to be able to take this class with such a talented and authentic instructor. We are both very excited to sign up for the next class and learn more about this ancient skill.

Tai Chi Acupuncture and Wellness Center is worthy of Ten Stars. I found this place on Groupon and would not of known about it otherwise. I decided to try Acupuncture with all my issues that I have had. Kuan is extremely compassionate and listens to all of your issues. I also Love my massage and will travel anywhere near and or far for a good one. Annabalize is my girl. She listens to me and what is bothering me and attacks. She knows exactly where to go. Honestly if it wasn’t for Groupon I would never of found out about this place and now they have a customer for life. I would also be interested in learning how to do Tai Chi so that may be my next venture. I will be seeing them for my Birthday Massage next week!

Storefront is very deceiving, when you walk in there is an instant sense and feeling of calm. We were greeted warmly at the desk and asked to sit down. We wouldthen each brought into our individual massage therapy rooms. I can’t speak for his, but my massage was great. Using some wonderful scented oil’s it immediately put me at ease, and she went right to work on the problem areas.
I didn’t even notice to our flyby it was that fast and that wonderful. I am having pain in my shoulder, and she came up with some ideas and some massage to really make it feel much better. Hats off. Would definitely go back even without a coupon and can’t wait until my next massage!

I would recommend Kuan to anyone! Both my husband and I are patients and put all of our trust in him. My husband is being treated for a massive stroke that he suffered a year ago. Traditional medicine had been unsuccessful in alleviating the severe shoulder pain that is common with stroke victims. He no longer uses a sling and the shoulder is pain free. The treatments are also helping to restore the communication between his brain and affected arm/​leg. He has made gains in motor function and sensory perception and we have faith that these gains will continue.
I have been treated for stress and anxiety after my husband’s stroke. I now feel so comfortable and calm that I always fall asleep during my treatment. Kuan’s office and treatment rooms exude peace and tranquility.
I am impressed by Kuan’s holistic approach to treatment. He is not just treating the symptoms but considers the total person and what is going on in your life.
I do not know where we would be without the caring and professional treatment that we receive from this wise man.

I started going to Tai Chi Acupuncture two months ago at the beginning of March. I had never tried acupuncture before. I had been dealing with fertility issues for the last year, and was experiencing unbearable stress and anxiety.
After just one visit with Kuan I felt the tightness in my chest going away and my anxiety disappearing.
After just five visits I was pregnant. :)
I continue to see Kuan every week. The experience is always very calming, and restful, and balancing. The office is always impeccably clean and welcoming. They have a huge selection of books in the waiting room that you can borrow on a weekly basis. They have bottled water. They have soothing relaxation music in all the rooms. The treatment beds are clean, comfortable, and heated.
Kuan himself could not be any nicer or more accommodating. He starts each visit discussing your current state and makes adjustments to your treatment as necessary. Each acupuncture session also includes an acupressure massage (which is wonderful.)
You don’t have to be «into» every principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi, energy meridians, etc in order to feel the effectiveness of acupuncture. In fact, I started my visits as a pretty big skeptic.
But whatever Kuan does, works! He helped relieve my stress and made me feel more balanced. And most importantly: he helped me get pregnant! I’m continuing to see him once a week and I look forward to every visit.
My best friend has also started going to Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center and she also loves it.

This place is worthy of all its excellent reviews. I had a Groupon and will be back without one. I have had acupuncture before, but this was different. First of all, I could not have been treated more gently as I was told everything that was being done. Not only that, I am feeling the difference after one treatment! It was a comfortable, warm environment with no pressure to return. I learned a lot and was treated respectfully and with care.

If I could give this place 10 stars, it’s worth it.
First of all, I am extremely particular and picky about places to go whether it is for food, services, travel, etc. When someone else likes a place, I am usually finding fault that nobody else sees.
This place had no faults. Zero! It’s simply amazing. My hubby and I got Groupons and tried this place out.
You can park right in the front so it’s ideal for anyone who cannot or doesn’t want to walk far. When you enter, it’s a whole new world. The interior décor is calm and relaxing. The couches are comfy. It’s spotless and welcoming. The staff is genuinely caring. You fill out paperwork and get checked in. Within minutes, our therapists led us to our rooms.
When you enter, you smell the lovely and relaxing light scents of lavender. The massage bed is made up with clean and warmed sheets. You are asked about what areas of your body have concerns with and what firmness you prefer. The therapist leaves you to get comfortable on the massage bed. (If you have back issues, you can lay on your side and you are set up to lean on a pillow so you are always comfortable. The room is spotless and gentle relaxing music is on during the massage.
The massage started and the therapist quietly took out all of my knots in my neck and back and found some I didn’t even know were so bad. She also helped my hip and shoulder joints with a circular motion and stretching. Absolutely amazing.
They massage for the entire hour unlike most places that massage you for 45 or 50 minutes out of the hour. Head to toe total relaxation under warm sheets and only the body part that is being worked on is uncovered so you stay warm. When it’s done, (This is the fastest hour ever because it’s just that good) then the therapist leaves you to get dressed. You are not rushed. It’s a quiet and calm atmosphere. When you exit, water is waiting for you in the lobby area.
I am so happy we found Groupons for this place because we will definitely be going back. I worked in a spa for four years and the massages don’t compare. If you think you love massages, wait until you try this place. You’ll never go elsewhere. I am already booking our next massage with our therapists in the next couple of weeks.

Treated myself to an excellent massage during my staycation. The LMT was Adrienne Gill, who listened closely to all of my concerns and target trouble areas. Adrienne’s calming presence made me feel relaxed immediately. The massage started with breathing in lavender oil, which Adrienne used for most of my massage. My feet were cold and she used peppermint oil and hot towels to warm them (a massage first). The breathing techniques combined with the aromatherapy really helped me relax. The massage was a mix of pressure point work and relaxing massage-​perfect! Adrienne even gave me healthy tips in order to stay off medication for my concerns, which I definitely prefer… no medication is always better!
It’s on a side street but there is a parking available. I may not have found the place if it wasn’t on groupon.
Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back here in the future!

I have been looking for a massage center that wasn’t the same old massage. I wanted various techniques and something my body wasn’t expecting.
I had a massage done by Adrienne Gill. The massage was wonderful and different. I think she used something called polarity, but from my end it seemed like a lot of pressure points and aromatherapy. I felt so relaxed and de-​stressed after the massage. Definitely worth a shot if you are unsure! I will be booking a follow up massage soon.
