Conrad’s Tire Express & Total Car Care

These people will rob you blind if you do not pay attention to the exact details of your car. Any, my mother and I used them frequently until this year when it became glaringly apparent that they were trying to short or overcharge their customers. First, they overcharge you grossly in labor to have a simple $ 50 part replaced. Just save your money, buy the part yourself and go to any local garage, like the ones at service stations and they’ll put it on for a fraction of the price.
They will also give you awful, unacceptable quality parts. For example, my mother bought tires from them and had them put them on. Not only they are used and old tires, they tried to steal the chrome tips that kept the air in the tire. She pointed them out and threatened legal action if they were not returned. I’m not kidding, within 5 minutes, they were returned to us. But that led to an argument between the manager and my mother demanding to have those workers fired. As I understand it, they now install cameras inside the garage to discourage anyone from stealing.
Plus, I complained about a noise in my engine and they wanted $ 200 to just look under the hood! Hell no, I went to a Sunoco in Garfield Heights, had the mechanic look under and removed the problem (blockage in the air conditioning fan) for $ 25!
But then again, this is North Randall, the entire town has gone to pot and the merchants and store owners are nothing but thieves that want your money for shoddy work. Again, I iterate, do not go to this Conrad’s or any period. If you have to, just ask them to just diagnose the problem, they’ll give you a receipt of the things that the car needs, buy the parts yourself and go to a local garage, service station or if you know a mechanic or are a mechanic. Save yourself the pain, frustration and the possible assault for wanting to beat up these incompetent robbers.
