Ok, so for starters this review is based on Taco Bell in general, not necessarily this particular location. Taco Bell advertised a ‘Fiery Ghost Pepper Griller’. This made me excited for fast food, a rare occurrence since I despise the notion of gmo rich food product. Foolishly I made my way to the local Taco Bell, resisting my intuition to drive on. Somewhere in my pea brain I thought, ‘surely this will be the fiery challenge you’ve been waiting for’. THEHOTTESTPEPPERINTHEWORLD, THEGHOST. A moment in time unmatched by even the habanero peppers I grew this year. Looking forward to a nose running, eye watering, uncontrolled sweat, please soak my face in a vat of liquid nitrogen experience. Bite one, substandard flavorless trickery. I’ve not been played, I’ll bite on… I thought. Surely the heat will take hold any moment… I thought. I won’t bore you any longer than that food did. My only question is; what are the other lesser intense flavors supposed to offer? Some things are best left unknown. Truly, I was played by Taco Bell.

Taco Bell is Taco Bell. It isn’t gourmet but sometimes it is the only thing I want to eat. My only issue with this particular location is the fountain soda. Every time I come here the food is decent as expected but the soda is always off in some way. Either it is so syrupy sweet that I can’t take it or it doesn’t have enough flavor syrup and it tastes like bad seltzer. It is the only location I have ever had this issue with and I have frequented MANY Taco Bells(in RI and in other states). Besides that it’s fine. They remodeled not too long ago which came with a friendlier staff(I once had an employee scream at me at 3am because they made my tacos wrong and they couldn’t remake them because they ran out of meat) It’s cleaner now than it’s ever been and the prices remain fair. But like I said, Taco Bell is Taco Bell, ya know?

Whoa! Just had a horrible customer service experience here! I brought my dog with me when I went through the drive in, I’m a vegetarian personally, but when I was done with my order I asked if they had anything meaty, like a peice of beef or something I could give my dog as a treat. After a long pause they responded«WEHAVENOTHINGFORDOGSHEREISTHATALL.» I was pretty startled, but the worst was the guy Brian at the window, he said taco bell meat isn’t fit for dog consumption and that maybe I should buy my dog actual dog food, from a store. Insinuating I was poor, or make a habit out of feeding my dog only fast food. I was pretty shocked. I understand if its against policy to provide food to animals, or if the meat was seasoned or something, but I feel like they were super rude and condescending about it. To top it off, they got my order wrong, I was missing one of my items lol.

Ok so it’s Taco Bell it’s not fancy food. It’s no where you’d choose to eat for dinner. However for a snack or late night eats it hits the spot. It’s cheap you can get a huge meal for ten bucks. Most locations are open til 2 or 3 am. And I usually go to this location and guess what ??? For kids who make seven bucks and hour they are always very pleasant and my order is quick and always correct ! Love it.

Everybody knows that Taco Bell is gross so I’m not going to get into that, but this store is one of the better ones. I go here all the time with massive workplace orders, and they never EVER screw anything up. The people that work here are always friendly and the storefront itself is super duper clean. If you don’t like fast food, get the Cantina bowl because it’s really not fast food at all. I eat them all the time(it’s pretty much all I eat here) because it’s actually not garbage food. It’s basically a big salad(with chicken or steak) served with rice, black beans, corn, guacamole, pico de gallo, and topped with a light spicy dressing. It’s VERY good. Surprisingly, shockingly good. I am also a sucker for their baja blast Mountain Dew. On more than one occasion I’ve gone through the drive through just to get a jumbo-sized one. Don’t judge me.

Now this ain’t Mexican food and it ain’t border food. This stuff is to Mexican food as McDonaldland Chocolatey-Chip Cookies are to tollhouse cookies… a pale reflection. but my God it’s GOOOOOOOD… it doesn’t matter that there’s a constant babble of Othertongue behind the counter and all around you. It’s salty and it’s greasy and it’s tasty and the cold root beer will wash away the spice so you’re ready for the next luxurious bite. Dig in, have fun, and just try to put thoughts of the Rio Grande out of your head. This stuff is what it is, it doesn’t cost a lot, and most folks seem to like it. As for me, I like the hard tacos. I can do a dozen no problemo. But I sleep with the windows open…
