After several months of agonizing pain in the mp joint of my big toe, I approached Dr. Bigelli to discuss my options of relieving such pain. I soon realized surgery was inevitable, and, although I eagerly looked forward to the day I might be pain free, I was nevertheless a bit nervous while I considered any kind of surgical intervention: What particular surgery would be best for me? Which presented the best outcome for my situation and my active lifestyle?
Dr Bigelli meticulously explained my surgical options, and, based on his experience, what I could likely expect for an outcome from each option.
The care that I received during and after surgery was as exacting and meticulous as that which we discussed prior to the surgery. He then carefully monitored my foot throughout the healing process, methodically instructing me what I could do to expedite healing.
I am very happy with the results of my surgery and the care Dr Bigelli gave me.

I tried Dr. Bigelli because so many people I know love him and referred me to him for a problem that I have with my feet. He ended up being my second opinion and the only one who understood me and gave me the correct diagnosis. I have plantar fascitis in both feet (yeah I know. OUCH!) and unfortunately my job is not a sit down job at all but rather an a standing or walking kind. Lately my pain has progressed so bad that I couldn’t walk. He had the absolute nicest and sweetest beside manner I almost never see! He gave me my options for recovery but never pushed anything on me. I’m slowly starting to feel better! I would highly recommend him because he is so concerned about his patients and not the idea of pushing products on you like some doctors.
