We are a full service optometric business that places customer service and quality products our number one priorities. We are a family owned business that opened here in North Port in November of 2009. Services we offer include: routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, glaucoma testing and treatment, treatment of eye infections, cataract assessment and dry eye treatment. We also have an optical on site which can fit our patients (with our prescriptions or ones from other doctors) with designer and affordable frames for children, adults, men and women. Dr. Jesse Hicks, a native of Florida, grew up in Pinellas County in the Clearwater/​Dunedin area. He was an active Boy Scout while growing up and achieved Eagle Scout status at 17 years old. He had high hopes of becoming an optometrist early in life. By the time he was 8, he was already telling friends, family and teachers that he was destined to be an eye doctor. After graduating from Dunedin High School in 1995, Dr. Hicks attended the then St. Petersburg Junior College, now called St Petersburg College, where he earned his Associate in Arts degree with Honors. He then attended the University of South Florida where he was inducted into the Gold Key Honor Society and the College of Arts and Sciences Honor Society. He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Natural Sciences in 2000. Later that same year, Dr. Hicks entered the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he completed his Doctor of Optometry in 2004. Since then he has practiced in variou
