Established in 2000.

We have lots of experience in Sarasota and the surrounding areas. We have been photographing weddings together in this area since the year 2000. Before Jason Scott Photography (and previously, Affordable Digital Photography), we photographed dozens of weddings for another very successful local wedding studio.

We are both originally from Rochester, NY. Jason has lived in the Sarasota area since 1997, Allyson since 2000. We were married at Selby Gardens in April, 2005. We currently live in North Port with our dog, Badger.

Jason was interested in photography even as a young child. His parents even let him have a darkroom in their home. When he’s not photographing weddings and beach portraits, Jason enjoys nature photography, kayaking, golfing, and fishing.

When you book Jason Scott Photography for your Sarasota Wedding Photos or Siesta Key Beach Portraits, Jason will be your photographer, not some third party you know nothing about.

Allyson works as a «second shooter» during the ceremony for Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto County area weddings, and as a full time photographer’s assistant during your reception or for Siesta Key beach portrait sessions. She also maintains our website and handles emails — when you contact us, you’re talking to her!
