Business Owner

Ric Schafer was born on the shores of Lake Erie, Ohio where he grew up with the love of being on the water with boating, fishing and water skiing. At the age of 18 he became a marine technician, working for 15+ years expanding his education and experience of the boating industry. For several years after he was involved with the cabinet industry working for one of the largest cabinet companies in the world as a supervisor and proto-​type designer. In time, he realized he missed being on the boats and had always wanted to be on the water year round and he knew Florida was for his family and him.

Ric and his family came to southwest Florida in 2010 to start a new life and in 2015 Gator Mobile Marine was born, specializing boat repairs & marine electronic installation. Servicing Sarasota, Charlotte & Lee counties in Southwest Florida. Licensed & Insured. Credit cards accepted.
