If you know exactly what you need/want and the store has it in stock, you are in the right place. If you need assistance, better go somewhere else. This happened yesterday, January 7, 2013 shortly before noon: I had checked the website for a Nexus7 tablet, which was supposedly in stock. No sales person around, but 3 cashiers. After checking the shelf, no Nexus 7 anywhere. I am waiting for a sales rep., nobody around. After a while I ask one of the cashiers if there is possibly asales person available. Answer: NO, do you need something? Well, would I ask if I don’t? But she called someone over her walkie-talkie, and this young lady comes and tells me, that she has only 2 returned/defective Nexus 7, but she would show them to me. I asked her if she knows anything about the difference between the various Android operating systems, and she says: no, that’s above my pay grade, but John should be here any minute, he knows more. Well, John never showed up, so I left the store. I shop at Office Max only if I need something that I can’t find in other stores or if something is on sale, but just once had I wished to find a friendly and knowledgable person in that store.
