Established in 1994.
Basch’s commitment to excellence began in 1946 when Donald J Basch Sr., «Pops» graduated from Cleveland Trade School to begin his career as a watchmaker. In 1972 «Pops» became a Certified Master Watchmaker, only one of 2 in Cuyahoga County to achieve this prestigious title.

Business Owner
Norm began his apprenticeship as a watchmaker in 1977 under the guidance of his father, Donald J. Basch. in 1994, he opened the doors of the store you see today. Norm maintains a focus on luxury watches. Every year, Norm attends bench courses to hone his skills, specifically in Calibers and luxury Swiss watch brand training, recently concentrating on the Omega brand Co-Axial Chronograph. Norm and his team of watchmakers continue to attend seminars and workshops sponsored by the Ohio Watchmakers Association as well as the American Watchmakers Institute. Most notably, Norm in 2009 has been awarded the title of AWCI 21st Century Certified Watchmaker (CW21) by the American Watchmakers-clockmakers Institute. Norm and his team have a passion for high quality customer service and a deep appreciation for the engineering that goes into luxury timepieces and fine jewelry.
