Andy’s Auto Wash

$ 24.95 for a carwash outside and in. A joke and over priced. The vacuum job inside was nice. The crap that get the car clean on the outside is ok for what ever they want to call it. I gave $ 3.00 to one of the clowns that was drying and so called windexing inside of the car. Windex? They did crap!!! The rear view mirror not done, moon roof not done, side doors of the car not cleaned, rear window not done, etc. I was fricken ROBBED!!! That crap won’t happen again!!! Fricken thief to charge a fricken price like that. Boycott this joint. Go ahead people, you are the same customers that don’t pay sticker for a car and live in Bay Village or Westlake and walk around with your nose up in the air but won’t pay the asking price for a car or the washer and dryer at Best Buy. But you are SUCKER to pay $ 24.95 plus tax for this over-​priced service

I’ve been going to Andy’s for years! They clean my car without leaving any scratches. I have my vehicle detailed annually and it’s like new when they’re finished. I drive 20 minutes out of my way to get my car washed. They’re always making improvements inside and out. I’ve always been impressed by the way they run the business. Kudos!

Initially, I wanted to rate this place 5 stars. I dropped my Jeep off for the «Ultimate Bath» at $ 54.99. I went inside, sat down in their waiting area, and waited for my Jeep.
About an hour later, a gentleman came in and said that the dog hair in my truck was taking a while to vacuum out. He said that since I had already waited nearly an hour, he wanted to see if I was comfortable waiting another 10 – 15 minutes. I thought that was phenomenal customer service and was very grateful they cared about my wait and wanted to make sure I was satisfied.
About 10 minutes later, they called me, the truck looked amazing, so I tipped the guy and drove home. Once home, I had to load up the truck with a few things, and that’s when i realized the trunk was still utterly covered in dog hair. It was then that I realized that the guy didn’t care about my wait or satisfaction, and instead was concerned my truck was taking longer than the allotted time it was taking to clean.
I personally don’t care if it f takes 20 minutes or 3 hours. If I’m paying money for a service, I expect that service to be completed, regardless of time it takes to complete.
So if you want to get as much work done as possible in the amount of time they allow per vehicle, they do a great job. If you’re looking for a complete job however, it better not be too dirty or require too much work, otherwise, it won’t get done.
Here is a picture of my trunk AFTER I spent about 10 minutes vacuuming it. I spent another 30 minutes to complete the job. I shouldn’t have had to spend 40 minutes at home vacuuming it out with a less powerful, more time consuming vacuum, when it should’ve been done in the first place.

The Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had an issue with my car being hit while in the car wash (I was not in the car) I filled out an accident claim form and was told I would be contacted the next day. I was never contacted. I actually had to call a few times before I actually spoke with a manager. He asked me to come in so he could survey the damage. When I returned I was greeted by the owner. He immediately became defensive and told me I didn’t understand how cars hit straight on. He continued to belittle and yell at me in front of a slew of customers. I left without any solution, not even an apology. If you want to support a local business person who appreciates their customers DO NOT GO HERE!

Couldn’t be more disgusted and disappointed with the service at Andy’s Auto Wash.
I had been a loyal Andy’s customer, visiting them every two months (I appreciate the full service: they vacuum inside, wash outside) –until recently when I witnessed (through the window on the outside of the automatic car wash) my car hitting the car in front of it, denting the bumper, chipping paint, etc. An employee witnessed it as well. –Alright, things happen, I understand. The problem is when I returned for the requested «follow-​up» with the owner to review the car and discuss the «incident» the owner refused to take fault («that’s not how gravity works») — really crappy customer service — but the WORST OF IT is that not only was he defensive he worked himself up and became verbally violent towards me, screaming insults to the point at which I had to excuse myself from his raging as a necessary protection. To say he shook me up is an understatement.

Very efficient operation with mostly friendly staff. I’d give ⁹⁄₁₀ for the cleaning. One star drop because of the price and another for the angry looking guy who walks around with a gun «concealed» on his hip. I wouldn’t bring my kids here.

They do an average job and it isn’t cheap either. Fairly efficient but the interrogation for the up sells at the wash line is invasive, classless and insulting. If they want to really learn sales transitions and menu up sells I’d suggest college first. If a place opens up fairly close that does in and out’s I’ll never come back for that reason alone. I also will NEVER take their stupid spray wax just because it makes them furious. Hey, at least they never stole change out of my cup holder I guess…

I only go to Andy’s Autowash — they are the best when it comes to making my car look brand new! The staff is super friendly and professional! I highly recommend Andy’s.

So I went to get my truck washed today (⁵⁄₃) at Andy’s and what an experience it was. I’ve had some less-​than-​adequate experiences before which have kept me away from the business for about 2 months. The lack of enthusiasm and a bit of laziness resulted in me giving them another shot. I wish I could have mustered that enthusiasm because the customer experience I received today ensures the fact I will never return. I pulled in since I saw no line. The lack of customers did not help the wait time and just seemed to allow the employees to loaf around even more. Finally, I was approached by a employee that asked what service I wanted to purchase. I wanted a basic inside/​outside wash since the truck is manly used for work. He quickly tried to sell me up which I obliged since it came with a «free» wash. When I looked at the $ 32 dollar price I thought to myself «it should of came with a whole lot more than that». I paid and waited for my truck to come through the wash. It looked pretty good coming out since it was wet so I didn’t see a problem. As I drove away I started to find problems that should not come with such a high price tag.
First, I noticed my hood was fluttering going down the road and realized the employee most of unlatched the hood trying to disengage the parking brake. Instead of shutting it back, he just left it open. It could of been a big problem if I went on the highway without noticing it. Second, I noticed my radio reception was bad. I looked at my antenna and it was snapped off flush to the mount. I know, ultimately, that it is my responsibility as I had a shorter antenna that I knew didn’t flex well at all. But I also would of hoped they would of caught the mistake for me and, at least, told me so I could remove it. No, they just ran it through. Thirdly, when I got home and out of the truck, I noticed my mats still had mud on them. So did the fender wells and the mud flaps. All this stuff has compounded and secured my decision to not return. Replacing the antenna turned my $ 30 wash into a $ 45 wash.
I’m not wasting my time complaining to Andy as I have seen him deal with customers. I can say for certain that that is also an unsatisfactory process as well. He likes to make up BS and always pin the blame on the customer. So I’m doing the next best thing and posting here so other customers can read my experience. This is my one, and probably only, review so I hope it keeps someone from paying an exorbitant amount of money for a very mediocre (or less) service.
Ever since he put in all that automated bullcrap it seems like he has been steadily pruning his employees as well. I hope his decisions work out for him because over time I’ve seen that place go from a great car wash to a plain rip-​off. I know one thing, I will not be back. Hopefully he doesn’t piss off more people or he will start chewing away at his customer base as well.

Sloppy job on the vaccum, a mat wasnt put back on the floor, tires were supposed to get cleaned and did, but didnt look like it. I went when nobody was in line so really surprised when there was no need to rush. quality is low here. 30 $ bucks … got ripped.

do not use t his place. they damaged my car then told me it was already there and to call my insurance company. when i asked for owner they would not give it tome and closed the door on my face. sounds like the reviews i ready means i was dealing with the owner andy.

I have been getting the monthly exterior only package since November 2012. The washes have been fine. However, after the wash, the quality quickly goes down. Water spots and drips everywhere. I’ve always ignored it. Today, the drying effort left some foreign substance on my windshield and driver door. The owner went on and on about the poor quality paint job on my vehicle. What does that have to do with the windshield? What’s more he got angry that I wasn’t believing all he was saying and he walked off in a huff. Very customer UNfriendly!

I went this past weekend for what I call a «good» car wash… drove all the way over to Andy’s…waited in line for almost a ½ hour all worth it I thought for my «good» car wash… I have an Acura RDX… my mats were dirty, my back seat back dirty from my daughter kicking it with her boots etc… could not wait for my «good» car wash… NOT… got the car back — mats were still dirty, back seat just wiped actually smeared looks worse — mats in the back seat were just thrown up on the seat — I am sooo disappointed I can’t believe it — worse $ 22.23 I have ever spent… now I guess I am on the search for a «good» car wash to go to — Andy’s you used to be sooooo good what’s up??? I was there 2÷25÷2013… your not going to have the lines if you keep up the poor quality… Laurie with the dirty Acura.

Been to car washes in most of the Eastern and Midwestern states… And this place rates at the Top. The Owner works the operations… And it shows!
