Day bartender is the most unfriendly person I’ve ever met. She hardly said a single word to us, and made us feel so unwanted at the bar. It’s as if we were doing something wrong being there. We are service industry people and we love our local bars. The food was great, but your bartender was miserable!

If the TV show«Bar Rescue» is looking for a location… I found it. This place was horrible to say the least. I should have gone with my first notion and left after my bad cocktail. But it was late and my son and I were hungry. We walked up to the front door and had a man and woman leave a table where they were smoking out front. They walked in without holding the door, so I assumed they were patrons. Nope, they were the cook and bartender. What a great start this was. The bartender looked like she just left a episode of «Cops». Her choice for clothing was not fitting at all but that was the least of the issue. She laid her head on the bar and was resting while taking food and drink orders. All she did was complain about how tired she was and how she wanted to go home. This woman had to be the most miserable person we met the whole week in Myrtle Beach. The other reviews list her as such, yet she remains an employee. How the owners have not fired her is beyond me. The drink I ordered was horrible to say the least. I had to have her fix it since she obviously never made a Long Island Ice tea before. My order was wrong, but since it took 20 minutes to make a simple wrap, I wasn’t going to chance it going back to the kitchen. The bar was dark and dingy and a place where the local booze hounds would hang out. Don’t get me wrong, I have my own haunts that are bad too. But this one was horrible. Go next door to Villa Tuscanna for a great meal. This place is good for a beer or a soda and not much more.

We will never go here again. As soon as we walked in we knew it was obviously not very family friendly. We were told to get seated, so we did. After about 25 minutes we got to order our food. We asked how long the food would take, because we didn’t have much time, and our waitress told us it would be about 20 minutes since it wasn’t very crowded. After about 30 – 40 minutes, we finally got our food. I had ordered a wrap with a salad instead of fries. When it arrived, my wrap was very cold(my tomatoes were frozen but I took them out and continued eating because we didn’t have time to have them heated back up and we were all really hungry) and they had given me fries instead of my salad. When we confronted our waitress about it, she basically told us that we were wrong and that I didn’t ask for a salad, because she would’ve heard me. When we got our check, we were planning on paying for our meal via gift certificate from . As soon as we showed her the code on the gift card, she told us that we wouldn’t be able to pay that way because we ordered a happy hour item, which we were not made aware of. We asked if we could just get a seperate check for the happy hour items and pay for those in cash, so that we could pay for the rest via gift certificate, and she told us that we couldn’t. She said that if we had asked her earlier to give us a seperate check, she could have, but it was too late now. We ended up paying for our whole meal in cash, not a penny extra. I have never been to a restaurant where the service was so bad that we didn’t leave a tip, but there was no way that this woman would get one. Overall, worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I wish I could rate it a 0.

If your in North Myrtle Beach this stop is a must. Great sandwiches and the specials each day are always a good choice. We eat here a couple times a week every visit to the beach,

Great place for lunch. Very good sandwiches and cold beer. Staff was very friendly and helpful with selection. Nothing fancy —- just good olé bar food that is very good.
