Break Out

I’ve played some of the phone escape room games and have loved them. The creativity, the frustration… they’re great. I’ve been really wanting to do an in-​person one and it’s never quite come together for me despite the fact that there’s one in my town. So I was beyond excited when my husband booked us for the one in Myrtle Beach.
Two weeks ago we went down to MB. We could tell ahead of time that we’d be with four others in the Serial Killer room and were hoping for good company. We ended up turning a double-​date into a triple date (hopefully they didn’t mind!) and it was SO much fun. That hour goes incredibly quickly when you see that clock ticking down. We lost, but luckily the serial killer was «running late» so we got to finish.
Fast forward to today and my husband surprised me with a second adventure. We were on our own in the pirate room this time. I found it much harder with just the two of us, but it was still so much fun and I can’t wait to do it again. Even though we lost. Again.
Both experiences were full of surprises and clever clues. The staff (possibly the owners?) are SO nice and friendly and have really set up a great place. Can’t wait to go back again for their third room!

Came here with my husband to do the serial killer event with 4 other company. The group we were in were absolutely fun and exciting to work with. It was a new fun experience and beyond the doors you’ll find yourself having fun. The event is timed so it keeps you moving before the time runs out. This was my husbands and my first time doing this and i am definitely coming back to do more events. Unfortunately my group did not make it in time, however we all had a blast and we will be back to finish an event. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. You’ll be enjoying your time! Break-​Out is absolutely exciting. Try it!

A lot of fun! Something very unique and different to do. Staff was nice and very helpful –we went back twice in two days to try another room. Highly recommended!

A really cool, awesomely challenging themed team-​building game. We did the Serial Killer room and had a Blast! Very good concept and a refreshing alternative to dinner & a movie. Looking forward to going again!

Fantastic 1 hour trip. If you have free time and are looking for something to do with friends or family this is a great place to go. The challenge that we did was timed (60 minutes) which adds pressure and excitement. We had to use the the walkie-​talkie to get two clue to help us along. This was much more of a challenge than I expected and great fun!

Great time! Really enjoyed doing this! Even though we didn’t make it out in time, will come back on our next trip!

Creative, fun, and challenging. The owner couldn’t be nicer. Definitely worth the money and a repeat visit.

We tried Break-​Out out while on vacation because it seemed like a unique experience. The owner was extremely welcoming and explained what to expect in the rooms. But made sure not to give too much information away.
We were grouped with 4 younger girls and surprisingly the age gap between us and them did not impact working as a team. Looking back on it, I really love how each one of us played an important role in the group.
At first I thought this might be a little on the «cheesy» side, but I was totally wrong. So if you’re looking for something different and fun to do on Myrtle Beach then definately come check this place out!

Really cool idea and the staff was helpful and just wanted everyone to have a good time. Great activity for a rainy day at the beach
