History

Established in 2008.

TJ’s Pizzeria opened in May of 2008. The site has been a well-known location on Rte. 202 in North Monmouth for many years. It was once the location of Hayden’s Ice Cream in the 60’s, Wing’s Ice Cream in the 70’s and the Hi Hat Pancake House in the 80’s.The owners Kelly (Sanborn) Webb and TJ Quinn purchased the restaurant in May of 2008 and expanded it with more tables, a bar and more menu items.

«I’ve always wanted to own my own business,» says TJ. «And this opportunity was too good to pass up. I have family in the restaurant business, so I knew there would be a lot of hours involved, but it’s worth it.» Kelly Webb, a successful real estate agent in the area, continues her work in real estate, but helps out at the shop as often as she can.

TJ Q.

Business Owner

TJ grew up in the Waterville/China area and then joined the service. After leaving the service he spent some time in California before returning to Maine in 1998. He moved to the Monmouth area in 2007 and was working in the Rockland area building houses. In May of 2008 he bought TJ’s (formerly Rhonda’s Pizzeria) with his fiancé Kelly and they have grown the business significantly by expanding the menu with lots of fresh homemade items and adding the bar in the fall of 2008 to serve beer & wine.
