The Brow Spot

1 star Because I have to leave a star. Was a walk in and got a chair right away. First time going and definietly NOT Happy. Receptionist was kind but I didnt know all the services offered so I assumed they offered the usual services. She had me sit down in the chair and the girl came over and asked what i needed.
I told her that i wanted them to be fuller and cleaned up some. I explained that my last place thinned the 1 arch too much so i wanted her to fix them up and leave as thick as possible and tint to make fuller.
My eyebrows went from on fleek to weak. I always got complimented on my eyebrows and eyes… I am now ashamed to be seen. Its horrible. Little did i know that I would get the thinnest eyebrows ever in my life. Plus she threaded so hard i was tearing up. The tint didnt even hold color. PLEASE listen to your clients needs. Also a little more professional service is needed instead of gossip. Going back down the street to my usual people.

Ok. I do think Aridia and Meghan do a great job. However, I will warn you to double check and triple check appointments with the front desk. I’ve had my trip to Germany (I leave tomorrow afternoon) planned for over 2 months. Last time I was here, a little over a month ago, I saw Meghan and I LOVED how she did my brows… they were fuller. Being the meticulous scheduler I am (I never leave home without my appointment book because I’m constantly booking my clients and confirming appointments) I paid at the front desk and pulled out my appointment book. I explained to the girl at the front desk my travel schedule and I booked for today (6÷15÷16) but called back later that day and changed it to 6÷16÷16 because I knew I was driving back from Naples and didn’t want to run late (I hate running late anywhere)…so imagine my surprise when I call today to see if just maybe I could come in today after all, since I got back earlier than expected, to be told
1. I’m not in the book for tomorrow
2. I wasn’t in the book for today… and lastly
3. Meghan was on a trip and «We wouldn’t book you with her if her schedule is blocked out, so you must have booked with Aridia»…Um, NO, I stood at the front desk and verified with you at least twice, that I was coming to see Meghan specifically.
I’m very understanding that things come up and she may have had to make a trip, but then that’s your responsibility as a business to contact all clients for that time frame and rebook them or give them the option to cancel the appointment. I would never book a client and then when they show up put them with someone else. To accuse a loyal client of standing at your front desk with their appointment book wide open making sure you had the right dates available, of somehow booking with another threader (and even more ridiculous, saying I never booked it at all… really!?), makes no sense at all and is unprofessional. I’m all sorts of livid right now, but I’ll go to my regular wax specialist and get my brows done there while getting other services and then enjoy my trip.

2 stars because of how quick I was able to get in a chair but that is about it. I arrived and requested Megan since I’ve read reviews and everyone was raving about her. The softspoken receptionist told me she was not there and she was on a trip but someone else would be able to service me. I sit down and she asks me if I would like to «clean up» my eyebrows, little did I know that meant take them basically off. My eyebrows have never been this thin. Here I thought going to the Brow spot will be an experience and that someone professional was going to pay professional attention to the way I wanted my brow. Nope. I could have went to my regular lady and paid $ 7 for a better outcome. Needless to say that was my first and last time.

I’ve been getting service from both Meghan and Aridia for years now and even followed them to their new spot. I’m beyond a happy client, the studio is like a home for me and the girls are always so friendly. I’d like to add, though my girls are Megahn and Aridia I know they have a huge clientele and so I always give the new girls a chance. Mariah, she’s new, is AMAZING!!! IM so picky with my eyebrows and I’ve had horrible experiences with new chicks before but she’s spectacular. I recommend her 100!

They recently changed their name from «Dream brows» to «The brow spot». Either way I’ve been coming here since this spot opened. I’ve always had either Aridia or Meghan to do my eyebrows. Both of them know exactly what they are doing and are absolutely the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. The prices for eyebrow threading is pretty decent. It’s gone up a little but that’s normal for me. I just love how they do my eyebrows! Anytime a friend asks where i get them done i always recommend the brow spot to them!
Brows are definitely a must in a girls life.

Not a good place. I really can’t understand why this has such good reviews. I was seen quickly, but the girl who did my brows was so fast and careless. My eyebrows were threaded in 2 minutes, and the entire time she was yanking my hand around instead of just telling me where she wanted me to place them to hold my brows. She was also gossiping about the customer that was before me. Really rude staff and I left with crooked eyebrows. I will never come back or recommend this place, and I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 8 years.

Just got my eyebrows done with Aridia and I am super happy! I like my eyebrows Korean style (more straight less curves) and Aridia was able to do that! Not a lot of people in Miami knows how to do Korean eyebrows so I am super excited to find her and will definitely come back! For all of you wanting to try Korean eyebrows make sure to let her know prior to starting!

Meghan and Aridia are masters of their crafts! They are the only 2 that I would ever trust shaping my eyebrows. The location is very clean and they have comfy couches to sit on while you wait. Prices are fair. They cost $ 15 for eyebrows. Booking appts are easy and the girls at the front are always so nice. I definitely recommend to make an appointment in advance. They do take walk-​ins but it’s always better to be safe, than sorry! Their location is in the plaza right across from North Dade Justice Center on Biscayne! I highly recommend Dreambrows!

I might give it another chance but honestly as of today I’m not very happy. I literally told her: I like my brows thick, please don’t go thin… well, I ended up with the thinest eyebrows I’ve ever had :(
I miss my NYC ladies… for $ 14 they’d do my brows & lip, $ 9 less than in Dreams.

After going there a few times and really seeing the careless attitudes of some, I was really starting to rethink my loyalty to them.
The first time i went to Megan to thread my eyebrows, it was perfect. She paid attention to keep it as thick as possible as requested. It went downhill after that, constantly threading them waaaay too thin!
The last straw was when I had received a text confirming my facial the next day. I showed up for my appointment only to be told that the employee had been out of work for a couple of days. That pissed me off since I planned my day around that. What pissed me off more is the fact that they told me they were going to call me that week to let me know when she’d be back to work, needless to say I never received the call. Wow your customers seem so important to you.. Not.

After 15+ years of waxing and havnt naturally curly, messy eyebrows that is one long uno-​brow to begin with, I finally decided to give this a shot. Super pleased with the results. Threading + Tinting = $ 30 and Melanie was amazing! Took her time, asked about my shape preference, was very thorough and really did a great job. I am thrilled about the final product!

They amazing for brows. Especially Aridia and Megan. They do amazing threading. They know exactly what to do and what shape looks best on you.
I gave 4 stars because the waxing is subpar. I would not recommend body waxing there, the price is outrageous and the job is sloppy with many areas missed and skin breaks. Consider just doing your eyebrows there and leave waxing for another place.

Best place to get your eyebrows done! Aridia is the best person to do it. She is a master and I am very happy of her business. Definitely try the place ! Excellent customer service, friendly staff and very professional!

I came here to get my eyebrows threaded because my lady is way too far. I was nervous because I’ve only ever let my lady thread my eyebrows. I was extremely satisfied with my eyebrows. Melanie did a great job! I was in and out within 10 minutes. I’m so glad that I found a place close to home. Will definitely be paying them a visit more frequently.

Call me selfish, but I’m reluctant to write a review about this place because I don’t want the whole south Florida flooding this spot.
Hmm…where do I start? This business is located in a small shopping strip with boutique clothing stores, a nail salon and hair shop. Parking is limited, but because of the quick services, parking becomes available very quickly.
The ambiance of DreamBrow is very girly and well kept. It doesn’t matter what time of day I come here, there is always a wait. The wait time varies. I’ve waited as little as 5 minutes, and as long as an hour. But trust me, it’s completely worth it.
I’ve had my brows done by a few artists, but Megan is the only person I trust now. I’ve read many reviews raving about Megan, but they weren’t lying. She does such an amazing job. I always get compliments afterwards.
I always do a walk in, but it may be best to set an appointment.

I’ve been coming here for a while and I have never been disappointed. I didn’t realize that they had a Unilocal so since I see they do, they deserve a raving review. I have NEVER had compliments on my eyebrows in my life until I started coming here. I only go to Megan because I feel comfortable with her work but it seems as though everyone else is good, as well. As long as you make an appointment, the wait isn’t long at all. If you walk in on a weekend that might be a different story but that just goes to show how good and popular they are! :)

Once I moved here from New York, I had been on a small quest to find the RIGHT place to get my eyebrows done. I label it a quest because little did I know it would be one!
So, once I got to Miami I started Unilocaling to find a nice place; however, a majority of the places were RIDICULOUSLY priced! $ 25 to just WAX eyebrows?! Where I’m from, people would stare at you crazy because waxing is usually $ 5-​$ 7. So those places got an absolute NO from me.
Then I found DreamBrows and the rest is history.
Since I’ve been going there (I moved here in January 2015), every woman who threaded my eyebrows did a WONDERFUL job!
Nowadays, I go to Aridia. She is not only a soft spoken, respectful and likable individual but also a professional and very skillful at what she does. I have introduced her to family and friends from home who WISH she was in New York. All had positive reviews about their experience with her!
Also, the receptionist they always have is beyond courteous and professional as well — which in my opinion, completely represents the experience you will have here.
All in all, I highly recommend this place — great customer service and high level of skill. I have since moved to Doral and I will be honest and say it is definitely worth the drive!

I am here from Wisconsin for vacation and really needed to get my brows done. After finding DreamBrows on here and reading the reviews on here, I decided to go and ask for Megan. I tried setting up an appointment before had but the receptionist said Megan didn’t have an appointment available until 5 tonight but said to come in as a walk in because they weren’t super busy. So I went in around 20ish minutes after that conversation and Megan was available so I didn’t have to wait at all which was very nice. Megan was nice but besides asking me a few questions about my eyebrows, didn’t really talk to me until later in the process. I didn’t really mind that though because I’m not a very talkative person anyway. She cleaned up and shaped my eyebrows better than I have ever had them. Overall I am very satisfied, this was my first threading experience (after years of waxing) and I am hooked. Definitely recommend DreamBrows and Megan!

Megan (sp?) just brought me back to life! It was my first time visiting Dreambrowz and it definitely will not be my last. I’m always skeptical about having new people do my brows. However, I ran into several ladies with flawless brows that all referred me to Dreambrowz. I asked who should I ask for and they all said everyone is great. This will definitely be my go to place for my eyebrows.

I used to get my brows done with Meghan when she worked at Anarkali and Im sooooo happy I found her again. She still gives me flawless brows just like before.
The shop is super cute and the receptionist was funny, efficient, and friendly. The AC was broken when I went but that’s nothing. Ish happens.
