So I need to rant. I had an experience at Walgreens before Christmas. They announced that there was no waiting in cosmetics so I went and checked out there. Had a very friendly cashier. Paid for my items and walked my cart to the car and unloaded it. I then walked the cart back in the building to be confronted at the front door by the cashier from the front register asking for my receipt. I showed it to her and she said just wanted to make sure you paid. UM no ma’am I walked out with twelve packs of soda and 12 packs of toilet paper. It didn’t sit well with me so I called the store and the manager was very much unable to handle a guest complaint. After about 15 minutes of her stumbling to make a sentence she said she would talk to the employee and call me back in a few minutes. NEVER got the call back. I then sent a message to Walgreens Facebook on 12⁄21. They said I would be contacted within two business days. That should have been 12⁄23 or 12⁄24 at latest. I even gave them an extra couple days with Christmas. Still never heard anything from them. Sent another message last night and got an email response from a different person stating they were«Escalating» the complaint and I would be contacted. I then told them it was not necessary because it showed poor management and guest resolution skills. The response, I will update your case that you do not want to be contacted… I will not shop at Walgreens again. Any company that cannot handle a simple guest complaint and follow through with calling someone back not once but twice does not deserve my business. Glad to see CVS starting to open in the area. They will get my business for sure. Rant over.

Horrible pharmacy with very slow service. Even when you call your prescription in or submit online, pick up still take 30 – 45 minutes. This is sad when people are already feeling ill. Walgreens you need to review the procedures at this store or hire competent people that fill prescriptions more efficiently.
