Established in 2014.

Uprising MMA training center is an all around fitness and training facility where individual athletes and families can learn and master several martial arts, self defense, and fitness training programs from the top instructors in their field. Uprising MMA training center was created for law enforcement, military, security personnel, business professionals and their families, memberships are open to the public as well. We provide a complete service package to those interested in learning mixed martial arts in addition to those in pursuit of a career in mixed martial arts or combat sports.

What a great place! I’ve been looking for a new place to train because I didn’t like the direction my old gym was going. Uprising has a friendly, clean atmosphere. The trainers are very experienced, knowledgeable and didn’t act like they were Gods gift to MMA. Anyway, great place, great price and the training received from Luis was amazing. I’ve been training for 8 years now, I’ve fought both pro and amateur and I can say that Luis and Mike Gordon’s striking instruction is amazing. I highly recommend.

This is the first Martial Arts gym I’ve ever signed up for and for what I’ve experienced, I can say nothing wrong about this gym. The head coach is dedicated to help you excel and better yourself. The gym itself while not so big, it gives you a feeling of home and comfort to be able to give it your all and train at your best.

This gym is awesome. They have a great kids program. It’s one of the only gym’s that offer a free women’s Jiu jitsu class. Also a ton of classes to choose from like judo, wrestling, boxing, and more. With an experienced training staff.
Luis is a fantastic trainer. He takes the time to work with people individually and he’s an actual genuine human being. I have learned so much from working with Luis. My MMA career speaks for it’s self and I was trained by Luis.
Bottom line if you want to come down and actually learn something, get in shape, learn to defend yourself, and a enjoy training come on down to Uprising MMA. By the way the first lessons free.

I’ve been a member of this place since it opened, and it’s one of those gyms people will need to keep an eye out for. Even though it’s fairly new, you could see the high quality of it in its instructors, students, and owner. And as far as the owner Luis being terrible, in my opinion he is what makes the gym strong. When he teaches, his genuine passion for the arts is apparent in each and every class. If you’re still second guessing and you rather read about the gym in Unilocal,knock yourself out. To really see what I’m talking about, come check it out for yourself.

The head coach works with every student and gives individualized instruction to maximize student effort. It’s a nice facility and the classes have me dripping in sweat! I really feel like I’m improving as a martial artist at this gym.
