Nevada State Bank – Aliante Branch

The Service at this bank was excellent and they were so accommodating. Very helpful and very courteous.

They make simple mistakes here that prove their policies are neither consistent nor fair, AND that they do not adequately train their staff. When a bank makes such simple mistakes as they did, the only thing I can think of is that they are likely to make other mistakes that could be more severe and very inconvenient.
The bank staff did nothing to attempt to resolve their mistake at the time of service when they had the chance. I know a lot of banks do crappy things, but it’s always funny how they are not accountable for their mistakes, but expect their customers to be for accountable for theirs.

Been with this back since they opened, however their customer service has gone from good to poor. I have noticed the unfriendliness & unprofessionalism of the tellers for awhile, but I kept banking here because it’s very close to my home. Yesterday I have had the worst customer service by the bank teller who did not greet me at the drive thru window. They don’t ask how you want your cash back when I withdraw, so this time I wrote down how I wanted my cash back on a sticky note. Unfortunately, it was given to me incorrectly so I had to drive around & go into the bank to get the correct cash. It was so inconvenient for me to do this because I had my kids and dog in the car! When I approach the teller the same lady that was at the window was the one that tried to help me at the counter. I showed her the note to how I wanted my cash but she argued with me and gave me «the look»! She claimed «people can read it differently». So I asked her, does 1 — $ 50 bill means fifty $ 1bills??? She continued to argue with me and all I wanted was one $ 50 bill, two $ 5 bills, and three $ 20 bills. She became very defensive and rude! I left there so frustrated and annoyed. How can she be so dense?! All I know is I will be banking somewhere else! It’s time close my account here!

This is the absolute worst bank you can do business with. If you’re just moving to the area, choose elsewhere. Nothing against the employees at this particular location, they don’t call the shots, this is solely based on Nevada state bank as a company. If you fall on any kind of hard times, loss of job, death in the family, or any kind of financial troubles, they have no sympathy whatsoever.
I called ahead of time to cancel an automatic loan payment through my checking account because I needed 4 more days to make the payment. They said it would be a 30 dollar cancellation fee. Which sucked but I was fine with paying it. I check my account 2 days later and not only did they not cancel my payment, they also charged me the 30 dollars. Now after numerous phone calls with customer service, having to explain the situation over and over, getting hung up because the customer service rep. wasn’t sure what to do, and then finally having to drive down to this local branch, I was told there is nothing they can do about it other than put in a request to reverse the 30 dollar fee. Now I’m stuck paying 4 days of overdraft fees.
I’ve heard that plenty of other banks will waive a limited number of overdraft fees due to emergencies. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
