Marine Consignment of Wickford

I have been using Marine Consignment of Wickford for over 10 years and have also used their two other locations. These stores are a godsend to local boaters. I have restored two good sized sailboats over the last ten years and would not have been able to do it without MCW. I have visited many other consignment shops in RI, MA, FL and Annapolis and none maintain the inventory of MCW. Some of the prices may be a little high at times but they are always very good about negotiating price. Along with the variety of parts and supplies, their greatest asset is the owner Sam Angellini. I will guarantee you that you will not get better or friendlier customer service anywhere. How many places of business can you say that about these days. Even if you’re not currently in the market for any parts you should visit these stores just for the experience. Of course, as a boater you will find it hard to walk out with at least something. What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

I love Marine Consignment!
My boyfriend and I are members of the Community Sailing Center in Boston and often visit his family in RI each summer. We were really interested in finding a small sailboat to toy around with on Narragansett Bay and scoured Craigslist for days, but everything seemed super sketchy.
With a little bit of Marine Consignment luck, we found ourselves a super sweet 420 to come home with. Over the summer we kept stopping back and found other fun goodies to entertain us… used lines and tubes for towing, wakeboards, a couple small skiffs to go fishing on Narrow River, and a small electric motor (to avoid rowing on those super awesome skiffs we found earlier).
Not only did they have awesome stuff for newbie sailboater/​bored youths… but tons and tons of boat chairs, parts, gadgets, navigation equipment, boat ovens… I MEAN tons of boater stuff to suit every boat lovers needs.
