Don’t listen to ANY of the good reviews about this place. Those people received a discount to talk good about this company. The pictures of people with perfect eyebrows are fraud… its just makeup or people who have absolutely no eyebrows to begin with. I can’t believe I tattooed my eyebrows!
They make you feel very comfortable because they are all giddy and warm… even singing funny songs making You chuckle while your in the chair. They sent me home with mess on my eyebrows so I wouldn’t notice they messed me up. They are horrible people who refuse to refund you for their messy work.
This studio has messed up my eyebrows for life! CJ and Sheila both worked on me. My eyebrows are uneven… One is darker than the other and the shapes are totally off. Eyebrows make or brake a face… at this point I’m afraid to touch them again… I’m looking into a silicone and salt removal technique because I don’t want any of these ladies to touch me again. Keep aiming for perfection and next step u look like little Kim and u don’t know what hit you! Don’t believe the hype ladies RUN I was thirsty seeking perfect brows as well and I ended up worse off run Away! Please don’t pay for this, I’m willing to save anyone I can although they ruined me.
And to Wendy below save it Im not setting foot in Sheila Bella again messed me up for the last time I gave you two times to correct your mistakes I want my money back.

At first I was not happy with the initial results of my eyebrows. It has now been 5 months and I must say I am very happy with the results. I do have to fill them in in certain areas but this is normal after just one session. Color usually holds a lot better the second time around. Only thing I would do differently is go a little darker on the ink color. After my touch up which I am planning to book soon, I think my brows will be exactly how I hoped.

Maegen did my brows and she was amazing! So sweet and accommodating. I absolutely love the way they look and get compliments on them constantly. Thank you for being so wonderful, Maegen! I will definitely refer everyone I know to you

This place is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend everyone who wants to have gorgeous natural looking brows to go here @ Sheila Bella! I had a great experience from the staff for an excellent customer service. Everyone from Sheila Bella were very welcoming and made me felt comfortable during my entire stay. I was lucky to have the bubbly and cheerful ALISA as my technician. She is so talented and I thank her for my gorgeous brows. Alisa is very easy to talk with and she was open about my ideas on how I want my brows to look like, the shape, color, and length of brows but of course with her professional opinion. What’s nice about her too is that she took her time to meticulously draw my brows temporarily (with eyebrow pencil prior to actual tattoo) and was never in a hurry to make sure my brows were perfect. At first I wasn’t sure of the color for my eyebrows but Alisa and the other technicians helped me out to pick the right color and it was burnt toast/​dark brown shade. I will be posting pictures from the day i got my eyebrows done and 2 weeks after to see the healing process. Again, thanks so much to the staff @ Sheila Bella

I personally did not get what I paid for, my brows do not look like hair strokes as promise. They blend and look like a regular cheap brow tat. I had such high hopes and would have paid any price for the brows Sheila display proudly in her shop and social media. I draw my brows on every day. Im sure Sheila and her team do a great job but not all techs have the same experience. They should have at least 3 to 5 years experience before they are able to charge what they charge. The one thing I am grateful for is the fact that my brows are not as dark as others. I am able to draw them in. Ive also met several clients and i get mixed reviews from all of them. Attach is a photo. Sad i didn’t get what I paid for.

First off let me just say; the customer service is amazing the gals are the best ‚… I got my eyebrows done about a month ago, I have my touch appointment Monday, January 4^th. I’m excited. Looking forward in seeing my results!!!

I just want to say it’s disappointing to see all of the negative comments. I cannot speak for anyone else but personally, I feel this place has amazing customer service and are very personable. My tech, Christy, was beyond patient, understanding and reassuring even though it took a long time to get my shape done just right, which isn’t a reflection of her talents but merely because I am a perfectionist and a little OCD. Not only was everyone so warm and kind to me, but they also made sure my mom was comfortable as she waited for me to be finished. I highly recommend Sheila Bella and want people to understand that these are tattoos and will heal like normal tattoos and for most people it is a process of a few sessions.

Staff are caring, and friendly, but their work is not worth the $ 750.
I paid for the hair stroke, and I received a regular looking eyebrow tattoo. You cannot see any strokes at all. Their reasoning was that due to my particular skin type (big pores) the strokes bleed and end up blurred…
In the end there is nothing special to this company. Save your money and get it tattooed somewhere else.
Word of caution as well… Bring someone with you to help make sure they draw your eyebrows on straight. My friend went with me at the same time and in her 1^st appointment they were uneven. On the 2^nd appointment she brought a friend to draw them on for her. They look much better.

I finally gave into semi-​permanent brows & I must say… I LOVE it!!! My brows were done by Alisa, she is simply amazing! She is a perfectionist, so skillful, super meticulous, and detail-​oriented. Her approach is very natural and it definitely enhances your looks with minimal effort. My brows were done 3 weeks ago and still look amazing, I received many compliments on my brows and I could not be any happier! Everyone at Sheila Bella were so sweet and welcoming, and made me feel comfortable being that I was nervous about the procedure. The procedure was not as painful as I had expected, the numbing cream definitely helped.
Thank you Alisa and Sheila Bella team! You know what they say. A girl’s best accessories are her brows!

I am in LOVE with my new brows and i have the amazing ALISA to thank for them. She was so sweet and extremely professional with me. Right from the start she greeted me with a huge smile and made the entire experience super comfortable for me, because I was pretty nervous – I mean, hello… It’s my face! Who wouldn’t be? She even took her time giving my the perfect brow shape for my face. I never felt rushed when we were playing around with shapes. It felt more like having a sister or my best girl friends giving me a makeover. My brows are now AMAZING! Alisa did such an amazing job. My brows now have a shape, they look real and i cannot wait to come back for my touch up.

Thank you Emily, Stephanie and Sheila! From the valet outside to Emily greeting me at the door… my eyebrow session at Sheila Bella was AMAZING! Emily was very welcoming while still being very professional. Stephanie was also very warm and listened to what I actually wanted done, she consulted with me throughout the decision making on the shaping of my brows and color, until I was happy with the final «draft». I instantly felt comfortable knowing I had made the right choice choosing Shiela Bella for my permanent make up sessions.
Then, I met Sheila, she did the actual «ouch» part of the session. Although not something I would want done on a daily basis, it is well worth the discomfort! Sheila has such a great spirit along with the rest of the staff… it was truly a pleasurable experience! I HAVE EYEBROWS AGAIN! Looking forward to healing and heading back for my eyeliner and lip sessions.

My eyebrows now look worse than my initial pictures, which I was also unhappy with.
I paid over $ 700 for the hair stroke technique, which is not what I received. There are no lines, just color like a regular ass tattoo.
My 1^st touch up is today, but I have no clue what can be done to fix them. From what Sheila Bella advised, they can try adding color that is close to my skin tone. Which I will absolutely not do. One because I don’t want zebra brows, and two, because the color I received is already different that what I was promised, so there’s no telling what random color they’d try to add. This has been a horrible experience so far. I truly believed my eyebrows would look like the ones they post on the Instagram page. I’ll take a picture before my touch up. Right now, I still color in my eyebrows just as I normally did prior to getting this procedure done, however now it takes twice as long since I have to take the time to make them match one another.

I had my brows done here about 6 months ago. I was very excited because I believed all the hype. Needless to say I ended up with a solid line for an eyebrow on the right side, nothing like the claimed «hair strokes.» I called to complain and returned for my second visit traveling from the Las Vegas area once again.
When I arrived I asked to speak to the owner and requested that she do the touch up. She said she would not do it and to have the original person do my touch up. She also told me the results were my fault and not the fault of the «artist.» She claimed that’s just how my skin healed.
I would have bought that excuse if both of my eyebrows had solid lines that looked like a bad tattoo gun job. However I believe the «artist» tattooed too deep on that brow.
My «artist» decided to add white strokes to the line, however that didn’t help. Needless to say, she made my brow worse. Now I’m stuck with a solid line and on the second round she added more strokes bringing my arch downwards. Yayyyy! This is the exact reason why I didn’t want to see the same person and why I requested to see someone else.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Two words: Life changing!
I’ve never had the best eyebrows and used to joke that I definitely inherited mine from my dad. As a young teenager, I didn’t realize I could get my eyebrows done or shaped so I started to pluck at my own. I ended up falling into the fad of having really thin eyebrows that I eventually had to pencil in. I haven’t really given my eyebrows the opportunity to grow back because the stray hairs just got in the way of being able to pencil them in nicely.
Since I got my eyebrows tattooed 10 years ago and had an awful experience, I was really hesitant about trying it again until my coworker (thanks Nina!) showed me Sheila Bella’s Instagram. At that point, I hadn’t even heard of the hair stroke permanent makeup and absolutely loved how natural the eyebrows looked on previous clients. I skimmed through the photos religiously for a couple days before convincing myself to make an appointment. I called in mid August and booked my first appointment for October 10^th by putting down a $ 50 deposit.
The day of my appointment, it took me about 45 minutes to do my eyebrows. Once I arrived, the receptionist was really sweet and offered me a makeup remover wipe. I was a little taken back at first because I couldn’t remember the last time I sat in a waiting room full of people without any makeup on but the receptionist called over Alisa, the makeup artist that would give me back my confidence! I showed Alisa how I was used to penciling in my brows and had an emotional moment about how my brows were one of my biggest insecurities. She was empathetic and quickly made me feel comfortable.
I cleared my schedule because I knew this process could take a few hours. As soon as I got to the back room, Alisa was incredibly attentive and started to shape my brows. She drew what she felt would be the best shape for my face yet took all of my questions and wants into consideration. After that, we picked the color and I was ready to go! The process itself is a little painful but completely worth it! Healing took about a week and I didn’t feel the need to miss any days of work for that process.
I absolutely love my brows! Aside from saving money on q-​tips and eyebrow pencils, I’m saving a whole lot of time in the mornings to get ready for the day! On top of that, I’ve been able to let the hair grow and am really feeling how natural my eyebrows are starting to look. I have my follow-​up/​touch-​up appointment next weekend and am looking forward to it.
I wholeheartedly endorse Sheila Bella and especially, Alisa! If you decide to get your brows done here, request her! She is professional and incredibly personable. Thank you again Alisa! Seriously, life changing.

After a year an a half I’m back for my touch up (yes its taken that long for my brows to need it!) and I’m even more happier than when I first got them! I don’t know why my last post shows 4 stars, when clearly it should be 5. Do any of you know how to correct that? It won’t allow me to on my phone.
In any case, the service and quality of work here definitely shows. Everyone leaves with a huge smile on their face and giving their technicians hugs as well. I truly will tell you, this has got to be the best PMU place in town, and even the LA area. I know a few people have come from out of state to have the women here do their magic on them.
Before you get the tattoo done, they will make sure to do a pencil test for shape and also a color test to make sure you’re happy. Always remember that you are in complete control and that they are professionals. They really know what they’re doing and also want to make sure your comfortable and happy, so don’t be afraid!
Give them a call, check out their IG account, their reviews and videos. You’ll be glad you did and feel great about your decision. I know I have and I always will. Even my mom got her brows done and can’t stop smiling about them. Lol

Horrible experience. Sheila said it would look natural but it doesnt she didn’t even use the hair stroke method on me as she stated she would. Its been a year and a half my tattoo looks grey and blotchy you guys can take a look for yourself… my eyebrows are ruined!!!

Here’s my positive experience in detail:
I always had ugly brows. They were so thin and misshapen. It took me years before I finally found this place. I was drawn to pics on their site promising the look of natural brows. So I called. texted to schedule my appt. for 1 month later.
The place is in a weird part of town, but don’t judge a book by its cover. They have valet, he is so nice! I gave him a big tip. Inside, it’s so pretty! Someone put numbing cream on me & 30 mins later I meet Maegan. So she spends like 1.5 hours drawing my brows to my liking, it took a long time because my brows were such a mess! The procedure begins, it hurt. a lot. I thought I was gonna pass out. But I made it. I had eyebrows! And they were close to perfection.
I was told not to get them wet for 5 days & apply aquaphor morning & night. I was surprised. shocked at how quickly the pigment came off. So much so that I called with worry a week later, but I was reassured that it is normal and the touch up would correct any imperfections. I was still pretty happy because my brows still had a nice shape to it. I filled in the gaps for the next few weeks.
1 month later, I had my 1^st touch up. I told Maegan that it hurt the first time. So after she drew in the shape, she made sure to numb my brows up real good! It didn’t hurt at all, so make sure you speak up! Maegan is amazing! She is friendly. Her technique is fast and effective. I love her. Make sure you request her for your brows!
So it’s been 4 days since the touch up, the pigment is still there, my brows look incredible. I’m so glad I did this. Thank you Meagan & everyone at Sheila Bella =)

Good luck getting a «perfecting appointment» or color boost… especially if you’re from out of state. I called months in advance to book a color boost appointment during the time is be visiting in California and they were full. Yet they are always posting about next day appointments available for NEW customers only on Instagram. What about «old» customers? Do our faces not matter anymore? Bummer.

So disappointed! So here’s the scoop:
Last August (2014) I went to Sheila to get my eyebrows done. I can’t tell you the amount of research and effort I put into finding a good place. I was TERRIFIED of ending up with eyebrows that looked like someone took a crayon to my face! I LOVE dark, thick, shaped brows and I don’t even want to count the endless hours I’ve spent in front of a mirror with tools, putty, pencils, and powder, trying to perfect the look!
I have to say, I was super impressed with Sheila’s website. Their work looked amazing! Just what I was looking for, dark, thick brows. I read the reviews and I was even more impressed and I felt comfortable letting them carve into my face. (The do not use a tattoo machine, they actually cut into your eyebrows and smear the color into it FYI)
I called to book an appointment and they were so booked up I had to wait a couple of months to get in (hey I guess that’s what happens when you’re in demand)
On my appointment day, I brought $ 595 cash (Yes this is how much eyebrows cost with the «natural stroke» option) I knew it was double what all the other places were charging but I didn’t care because I don’t compromise when it comes to my face.
So I get there (street parking only) in a not good NoHo area that you wouldn’t expect. I was instantly turned off and ready to cancel my appointment (the area really caught me off guard) but when I got inside the place was really nice; the staff, and Sheila, were very nice as well.
So we get down to business. I can you it’s painful but beauty doesn’t come easy! We get done and Sheila tells me I’ll need to come back in 2 weeks for the touch up.
After 2 weeks go by Im definitely ready for more color! My eyebrows had some imperfections that I noticed and Sheila pointed them out as well. I told her I wanted DARK brows, much darker. My hair is dark black and I wanted my eyebrows to match. So we go for round two.
Afterwards, the shape looked great and the color was pretty dark, but not as dark as I wanted. They took pictures and I went on my way.
It’s now been only 7 months since I’ve had the procedure and I’ve found myself back in the mirror for 20 mins each morning, with my tools, powder, pencil and putty, battling my eyebrows again! Talk about upset!!!
My brows are still very light, and continued to get lighter after the procedure. I’m really upset because I’ve seen the other girls on their site that had practically no eyebrows just like me, and ended up with super dark lush brows. What happened? I can see «gaps» in the color that I have to fill in and they’re losing their shape! I’m having to stencil them all over again!!!
When you pay twice as much as everyone else is charging, you expect twice a better job! My brows didn’t even last 7 months (now I’m going to have to find another place and shell out even more money!!)
They will tell you that if you have to get a touch up within a year, it’s half off. WHAT?!! So I’ll be paying a total of like $ 900 for brows within a year!!!
