Meet the Business Owner

Donnie J.

Business Owner

Sensei Donnie Jeffcoat has been studying and teaching martial arts for over 25 years. His training includes Shaolin Kempo Karate, Kung Fu, Kenpo Jiu-Jitsu and American Kenpo Karate. After discovering his passion for the more practical/tactical aspects within martial arts, he began studying American Kenpo under the guidance of Grandmaster Larry Tatum. He opened Shaolin American Self Defense Academy (SASDA) in 2011, where he began to share his teachings with his loyal students. Mr. Jeffcoat continuously trains and expands his knowledge in martial arts with various senior black belt masters. He believes in expanding his student’s minds by exposing them to different styles and teachings. This allows each individual to find the «perfect fit». American Kenpo is a constantly evolving, combative system, which easily adapts to student’s age, body type and skill level. Sensei Donnie believes that martial arts can enhance the life of anyone willing to give it a try and make the commitment.
