Relax House Massage

This place is clean but to me it seems like it needs to be remodeled already! They offer good prices and have a decent massage.

After a very stressful semester at school I decided to look for a place where I could get a massage. I found the relax house through groupon and decided to check them out. I chose to get their body scrub and full massage 90 min package. I must say that this was the best massage I ever got in my life. I was serviced by Apple, she was very professional, and knowledgeable. I have gone to a lot spas, even better looking places, but when It comes to service this place is king.
I’m making a visit to the relax house at the end of my semesters my brand new tradition.

I had an appointment that I had made a few hours earlier. Upon arrival at the appointment time, they were not there. I waited 15 minutes, called (no answer), then left. Needless to say my experience with them wasn’t good.

I really hate to do this because the massage was OK, long story short I seen other people’s hairs on the massage bed, it grossed me out but I figured maybe they washed the sheets and some got stuck, (trying to be optimistic) it’s was only a few and very short strands, I took my shoes off and it felt like the room wasn’t swept, little crusty things on the bottom of my feet when my feet touched the floor, the eye covers smelled like rice, and it says aromatherapy but it was just oil no smell, I honesty left itching and ready immediately got in the shower, I hate that the experience wasn’t that great sorry guys

You never know how it will go when trying a new massage place. Some are great, some are not. :(I bought a voucher for hot stone massage on living social because it’s very close to my house. Wow! I was very impressed. I exercise and really enjoy a deep tissue massage. Eva was the name of my therapist and she was wonderful. It started like a traditional deep tissue massage, the she brought out the hot rocks! Fantastic! Thank you much!

What the hell? I just drove to Relax House (which allegedly closes at 9 pm) for a walk-​in massage. I arrived at 8:10 pm. Although the light was on inside and the lighted sign said «OPEN», the door was locked, and no one responded to my knocking or a call from my cell. I will never return, and urge others not to bother, either.

Probably our 4^th time here always for a couple’s massage. Place is always clean, and staff are courteous and customer service is superb.
Had a hot stone massage combo massage and as always JJ was excellent and worked on my problem areas really good.

I prefer the massages here than the places in burbank.
Thought the heat pads were a nice touch towards the end of the massage

Mixed feelings. Place looks clean, but really worn and dated. I didn’t get the warm and cozy feeling of other spas and massage places I have been to. It looked like a trailer of some sort. While massage was good (can’t say «outstanding»), masseuse left the room to get the towels after hot stone massage I was getting for about 5 minutes. Not only towels are normally in the room so clients don’t freeze waiting, but also towels arrived were barely warm. So I was very unhappy at that point.
Bottom line — ok for a quick «pick-​me-​up» moment, however, nothing I would rave about.

There are good massages and there are GREAT massages. Had a 40 minute massage and 20 minute coffee body scrub and focussed on chronic neck and shoulder issues. Kat, my tiny but powerful 26 year old masseuse, was fabulous. Little details like a hot towel rolled under the neck and over the eyes, lightly scented towelette for your face, hot oil… Honestly, one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and the prices here are very reasonable. Needed this; I will be back.

I can’t comment on the quality of the massages themselves as they never happened.
I booked 2 appointments for Mother’s Day. I purchased 2 as my mom was going to be in town from the east coast, and thought it would be something fun to do. I read reviews, and they all seemed pretty positive. I didn’t pay too much attention to reviews stating how they canceled, no showed, overbooked, etc… since that really doesn’t happen, right?
Please please please do NOT go to this place. We got there 10 minutes early and the girl at the front told us, «no, no appointments» without even looking at the schedule. I told her, no I booked these appointments a couple weeks ago. Her response was, «sorry — it’s not my fault.» Come to find out — she is the manager. So it IS her problem to figure out regardless if she was the one who I spoke to to book the appointment or not. I stood there waiting for her solution — and after about 10 minutes she sighed and said, «uhhh I really didn’t want to have to work today. I’m tired.» The absolute last thing I wanted in that moment was this woman touching me. I can’t believe, as an employee, let alone MANAGER, someone would say something like that to clients they already disappointed. I think she expected us to accept they overbooked and leave. She just continued to say «sorry» on repeat without any real ownership or sincerity. I called Groupon and was refunded. I was pretty upset as it totally messed up our Mother’s Day plans.
Mistakes happen, and I get that. But she really didn’t seem to care to find an actual solution. If you decide to go to Relax House — please know there is a good chance of a massage never happening and you will be more relaxed staying home.

One of the best massages I have had. Nadia is wonderful and very strong. You have to check out this place. The price is right as well.

I got a deal through AmazonLocal for a massage and was pleasantly surprised. The location is a little odd (in a strip mall) but I didn’t notice once I’d gotten inside. I had a combo massage by Pam and was SO relaxed afterwards. I would go back!

Really good. I went there today. It was lovely and the hot stone massage was nice. The place is calm and serene. I liked it and will be back. My massage therapist was named apple. She was friendly.

Cheap, good massage place… nothing really special other than that. A customer was throwing a fit in the lobby over pricing which sort of ruining the ambiance. I had a massage/​facial combo and both were nice and relaxing.

Appointment + drive + got there 5 mins before appt + closed place= bummer.
No calls no cancellation.
Never should have tried the place.

The day I came to relax house, I had been on my feet working for 18 hours. I was tired, sore, and no doubt smelly, however I couldn’t wait. I needed some massage action, pronto! I didn’t even know this place existed, as it’s located in the tiniest of strip malls. I was actually on my way to a different massage place when I saw the sign for this one which is much closer to home. It also happens to be right next door to Original Thai (yum!). I went in, and the ambiance was very nice and relaxing. I was put in a quiet room which had the largest massage table Ive ever seen. Fawn did my massage, and she was very good. She also gave me an AMAZING body stretch which I needed desperately. If i hadn’t come here, I don’t think I could’ve worked the next day. They really took care of me. Like AWNOLD… I’LL BE BACK!
