The worse dentist I have ever been to in my life!!!
I don’t think any of there dentist have any degrees. Very uneducated. Cynthia the office manager is rude!!!
Doctor Garcia is very pretty and nice but she has no clue on what she’s really doing sorry but she need to go back to school!!!
They will charge up all of your dental insurance
$$$$ and still leave you in pain. The worse place ever stay far away!!!

Hollywood Smile is their Specialty! Good evening Unilocalers… tonight I have to give Unilocal a big bite of 5 star excellence for Pacific Dental Group! I have experienced all kinds of crazy dentistry experimentation but it all stopped when I was welcomed by the caring and professional staff at PDG! From the moment the lovely Cynthia picked up the phone and thanked me for trusting her office with my teeth to the incredible doctors that toothfully know what they’re doing! (Yes, there will be dentist puns throughout.) When I walked through the doors of the office, I was quickly greeted with smiles and welcoming. From there, I was lead to a comfortable room where I was never left unattended for a moment. I was informed of the procedures from start to finish! Pacific Dental Group has done for me what I thought could never be done. They have hidden my fillings, cleaned my teeth, whitened them, removed my wisdom teeth with NO PAIN (which I’ll talk about shortly) and have set plans to get some braces together for me. In 12 months I was able to go from frightening to fantastic with a new Hollywood smile that I get complimented on all the time, and I’m not brushing around…(cricket chirps). So about that surgery… I can not tell you how scared I was to have those wisdom teeth removed! ALL 4!!! AND they were ALL impacted! For those of you who don’t know the dental lingo, that means the teeth decided they were not going to pop out of their gummy beds but instead asked mom if they could lay back down sideways for 5 more minutes which in tooth talk means forever! The doctor was AMAZING!!! This guy swooped in and in less that 30 MINUTES… got that? 30 MINUTES I was done and on my way home for rest. Did not feel a thing and was checked on the very next day. WOW! OH, and did I mention, when it comes to the $$$ side of things, I can tell you they are willing to work with ANYONE! They truly care about their patients and future prospects and that is why they will continue to see me and my terrible jokes every time! I could go on and on with these amazing people. 5 stars just doesn’t cut it for them. I truly want to thank the entire staff and let them know how truly excited I am to continue working with them. They are the future of dental work and they way business should be run. Thank you so much for all you do! Keep up the good work and I’ll see you for my next dental appointment at Tooth-Hurty…get it? Amazing dentist! The dentist is never a place where I enjoy going and to be honest, I’m afraid of the dentist. I was very nervous to try a new dentist due to a horrible experience with my last one. Everyone in the office made me feel super comfortable which made my experience less nerve wracking! The work that was one on my mouth caused me no discomfort and they were very sensitive to the fact I j was nervous! This is a great office and I would recommend it to everyone!

I love PDG! I just moved to LA and they did a health fair at my office. Dr. Garcia is amazing. I needed to get a shot in my lower jaw, where all the nerves are, and I was dreading it. I barely, and I mean barely felt a thing. The staff are just lovely and I always feel so welcome and at ease. The teeth whitening for life incentive is wonderful. I just picked up my custom made whitening trays yesterday.

I learned of Pacific Dental Group through the health fair at my place of employment. This is a FANTASTIC place! Literally every prior dental experience I’ve had has been a mediocre to negative experience. This place was a game changer. . I can’t put into words my gratitude towards her and her team in helping me achieve my dentistry goals all the while making sure I was aware of the costs as they related to my benefit coverage. I was there for a lot of work and it took some time to get through the process (no fault of theirs, just the nature of the work that needed to be done). I had my 11yr old daughter with me during my visit and they were so considerate towards her that they provided a sandwich due to the length of my visit. Great place! Everyone was really nice and the doctor was very sweet and kind and answered any questions I had with patience.

After looking for a new dentist. I settle for PDG as was greeted very nicely and the front receptionist was very sweet. The dentist & his asst. were very pleasant. I’ll be staying for all my future dental visits an I can’t wait to see how my new smile turns out. I really recommend this place to anybody who is a first time patients. Excellent service and reasonable prices, and cleans establishment, very professional but friendly as well.

EXCELLENT! I was looking for a dentist for my 7 year old child and as all you parents know I was not going to settle for anything less than good service. Well, I didn’t find good I found EXCELLENT! I recommend this dental office for the whole family. After I saw how well my son was received and treated I made an appointment for myself after 5 years of not seeing a dentist. Angie at the front desk answered all my questions with respect and kindness. Dr. Garcia treated both my son and I as part of her family. It is a relief as a parent to know that I have found a dental office that treats my family with patience and excellent care. At Pacific Dental Group be prepared to be treated as family!

I didn’t even get a chance to walk through the door of this place!
It was all over the phone with the appointment receptionist and it was not a good first impression!
Please keep in mind, I never get angry over the phone. I don’t feel it really resolves anything. It’s just like road rage, only not as dangerous. I’m polite and direct.
In my book, no one is worth my anger and I knew she was just doing her job, (I guess).
The dental office had a gift card offer and I was given the gift card by a friend, so I could receive a free sonic toothbrush and teeth whitening. I had to text message them with a special activation code on the card and they would call me to book the appointment. I understand this is a way for them to get new clients. I’m sure it works for some people.
After a few attempts of them calling me because I was busy, I finally spoke to the woman (Cindy) who was in charge of scheduling appointments.
The issue came when I asked for pricing.
She said she could not give me any sort of pricing whatsoever and that I had to come in and pay for an exam first. Then depending on how things looked, I may need to also get x-​rays and pay for those, too. I stated that I needed a price so I could look over my personal budget and know what I would have to account for.
She absolutely refused to give me any sort of pricing.
I asked her for a ball park and she said no.
I explained that I needed it for my personal expenses and she continued to say she could not give me pricing.
I told her it doesn’t really make sense to me as a new customer; and that usually people ask for the price of something – everything – when they are buying.
I could tell she was getting irritated with me as I continued to explain that I needed some sort of idea on pricing and also, I needed to know what exactly they were going to do when I set the appointment. I knew I needed a deep cleaning for my teeth when I told her that, I asked if she could give me a price for that?
No, She could not.
She told me I would have to buy x-​rays and pay for an exam.
I told her I did not need to buy x-​rays because I had recent ones.
I could tell she was irritated with that but said I didnt have to pay for the x-​rays but if I needed new x-​rays from them, I wold have to pay.
I understood but told her I probably didnt need new ones from them because these were very current.
Then she offered to give me the exam for free, which was $ 59.
I knew she was simply attempting to book the appointment and so I asked if I could speak to a manager and ask about pricing. She said she was the manager at the office.
And that I could not speak to the Dentist, a Dr. Ben Galler.
I told her this just didnt make sense to me at all and I was uncertain about booking since:
1. they could not give me any sort of quote, even a general one. I even asked for a worst case scenario. NO go.
2. And since I needed to understand better what I may have to do, I could not speak to the dentist before I spent time driving to their office, waiting for x-​rays, waiting for a cleaning, and waiting to be told how much something would be.
I said thank you but I wasn’t asking for any free stuff (although I would take it).
I was simply asking for a ball park, general pricing for a deep cleaning.
I understand that they probably had to see me to get an idea of what they were going to do to my teeth, but to not even give a general ball park quote over the phone is the fastest way to lose potential customers. And they did that PERFECTLY!
I can get a ball park quote on most anything else over the phone, why was this so-​called manager so adamant about not helping me out as a customer?
I’ll tell you why: because she didnt care. I believe she was really just wanting to get her commission to book my appointment. And I did end up booking the appointent but only after I asked her the name of the dentist and told her I would look him up online and also look up their company on Unilocal and other places.
When I did not find any type of pricing, and not a thing about Dr. Ben Galler, but found only negative Unilocal reviews for other dental office locations from this same company (in San Rafael, CA), I skipped the appointment.
Before I did so, I called and told her I was canceling because I could not find pricing online, or any information.
She attempted to be nice but you know how you can tell when someone is pissed and they have a negative undertone in their voice?
Cindy had that towards me and was somewhat straining to stay polite, although she was clearly irritated that I refused to come in unless they gave me a general quote.
I think she was scared I’d hold the office to the pricing if it turned out they wanted more money or needed to do more work.
Honestly, customer service and friendliness would have helped but I didnt even make it to the first appointment because Cindy failed at the get-​go. She wasnt willing or able to support me in my request. That’s not the type of dentist office I want to deal with!
