This is a great little hole in the wall kind of place. Cash only, no English, hand made corn tortillas, cactus leaves. 1 lady took care of everyone in the restaurant. She is a hustler!

One of my favorite spots for a good mexican breakfast, absolutely love there chilakiles, menudo and there hand made tortillas, for reasonable price. Hate there parking spaces though, always full tried parking at liquor store and angry owner came out yelling lol had to wait a couple of times for people to leave but hay all worth my meal.

Their tacos contain a lot of protein making them twice the size of other tacos it seems that are nearly the same price. They provide a small amount of chips with their meals and offer carne asada, carnitas, and chicken. They have a breakfast menu I have yet to try, however their food is overall good. The tacos with freshly made tortillas and an unusually large amount of meat… That is where I find the best value here. Great food at a reasonable price. However choose off the menu carefully, some items are definitely better than others.

I agree with Songlian K. as I don’t usually go there w/o a buddy. BUT the family favorite thing to order is a carne asada burrito con crema, queso, arroz, no frijoles… oh and lots of salsa

My stars are always in relation to the type of place i’m in. For a total hole in the wall place in a part of town where the illegal outnumber the legal… this place is just fine. Ratty but decent at the same time.

First off, this is a total hole-in-the-wall taco place that I would not recommended going to solo, unless you’re a guy or it’s the middle of the day. The area is on the sketchy side. I don’t think it’s necessarily too bad of an area, but it’s definitely scary-looking. It’s located in a strip mall, so keep a close eye out for it. OK, enough about that! I’ve been here several times, but I can’t comment on too many of the food items. Here’s what I do know. I love their carne asada tacos! They are absolutely delicious. The carne asada is nice and savory. They handmake their tortillas right on the spot and put a thin layer of beans on the tortilla, then the carne asada and top it with onions and cilantro. A couple of these is usually enough to fill me up. Their beans are good, rice is so-so. Taco’s are about $ 1.79 per taco, so it can make for a cheap lunch! These are my favorite tacos in the area! I can also recommend the Chile Verde plate. That was pretty good with a nice kick in the spiciness level. I would NOT recommend anything carnitas from them. When I got my place, I thought, «Did I order chicken?» because it was so pale. Not that great. Because it is a hole-in-the-wall, the interior is not that big. There are about six booths and maybe 3 – 4 tables. You order at the counter and pick it up when it’s ready. The people that work there don’t speak English, so be prepared with some Spanish to order. Anytime I’ve been in there, I’ve been the only non-Spanish speaking person in the place.
