Vrej has been involved is all aspects of the banqueting business and is able to apply his experience to suit a client’s needs perfectly. His combination of entertainment experience, education and entrepreneurial qualities grant him the opportunity to effectively lead LA Banquets and efficiently plan an event. Vrej’s passion for perfection allows his banquet operations to be flawless and memorable.

Vrej holds a J.D. from Loyola Law School and a BA from USC.

It’s been a very stressful past 8 months for myself and my wife (as one would imagine preparing for a wedding). After researching many Banquest halls, we chose to go with La Foyer. I made an appointment to get information and pricing from a local representative. When we arrived, Vrej greeted us and helped us through the process. He was extremely nice and very informative. Moreover, he answered all of our questions and was very fair with pricing. There was no doubt that we were ready to celebrate the biggest days of our lives and La Foyer. After we booked the venue, and our big day (wedding) quickly approaching, we got nervous that things would go wrong as it usually does in weddings. We were asked to come in for a menu tasting event prepared just for my fiancé(at the time) and I. After we went, we met with Nico and Vardkez. Nico was the event coordinator and Vardkez was our host for the event. Undoubtably, eaten there in the past, the food was delicious. Anoush catering has been consistent with their food quality each and every time I’ve eaten there. Nico and Vardkez were very professional and friendly. We felt at home. During our dinner, Nico introduced me to George (Manager) and ensured us that we were in good hands during the night of our wedding. We didn’t know what to expect at the night of our wedding but there were minor issues as they happen but George and Vardkez handled it immediately and with pleasure. I didn’t even know about these minor issues (with our guests) until the next day. That’s how smooth our wedding went. I want to personally thank Vrej, George, Nico, and Vardkez for the warm hospitality and their professional services. I am a life long customer and highly recommend this venue to everybody! THANK YOU AGAIN ANOUSH/​LA FOYER for making the most special day of our life so memorable!

Recently attended a wedding at this Hall and the service was superb — as well as the food! I have never seen such a clean and comfortable ambiance. The bar was very convenient. My bartender Masie was a very personable worker and made me feel extremely gratifying. The specialty drinks were «off the hook!» I have experienced many of weddings in different Halls but none compared to this. The only thing that I didn’t care for was the time it took for a server to attend to our table.

We just got married at Ojakh/​Le Foyer a few weeks ago; all I can say is wow, wow, wow! They sincerely took care of us from the beginning till the very end.
First off, we booked the place months in advance and initially started the process with Hrach, one of the managers there (not there anymore); he was awesome to say the least, very respectful and accomodating. Once Hrach left, we were switched over to Nico another manager. We did most of our arrangements with Nico; he was also very accomodating and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted. He brought us in for a tasting session where we met Vartkes (more about him below). Up until 2 days before the wedding we were making changes and Nico was very patient with us and fulfilled our every request.
The week of the wedding, they have you meet with the maitre’d to run through everything and make sure the wedding day runs smoothly. For us, this was George and Vartkez (one of the head waiters); they were both extremely helpful and listened to everything we wanted and ran things as such. Vartkez went above and beyond our expectations and really made the day special for us; we had such a peace of mind knowing he was there. My immediate family got to know Vartkez and was incredibly satisfied by his level of respect and manner.
We have been receiving compliments till this day about how beautiful our wedding was at Ojakh.
Last but not least, Vrej!!! This man has won my and my family’s business over for years to come. There were a few things that we took care of with Vrej; my dad actually spoke to him on multiple occasions and all I can say is thank you thank you thank you, Vrej! He is a true gentleman and knows how to take care of his clients. My dad and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your professionalism and rapport. Suzy and I could not have had this wedding if it weren’t for you and your staff. You truly made our day special and I hope that you have continued success at your facilities.

One word don’t book or even attend to an event in this place they steal your belongings yes they STEAL !!! last night was my one of my friends weddings one phone was gone and wallet from one of the girls was missing this is from our table … We’ve heard from others that they had same issue in the past in this location be aware people… Shitty place

Holding our wedding reception at L.A. Banquets, Le Foyer Ballroom in North Hollywood was the easiest planning decision my husband and I made. It was the first venue we visited together and from the very get go, NICO GONZALES, aka the Event Manager, aaka «THE MAN», was prompt in his responses. One of our other favorites was Nico’s counterpart at the time Hrach, who really helped us with the initial process of booking the venue. I cannot stress how accommodating everyone at this venue was. Although I was not a demanding bride, I am a very particular person, and they were ALL so gracious about making sure everything came out just the way I had imagined it.
Here are just a few ways NICO and the whole Le Foyer Team really came in clutch for our wedding:
1) Nico let us hold dance practices on the weekends for my father/​daughter and first dance so we could get it just right
2) They really worked within our budget and gave us options that catered to us
3) They have A LOT of really great food and their unlimited premium bar was legit and truly unlimited (our guests were full and very happy)
4) They let us drop off stuff at the venue the day before the wedding and allowed us pick-​up everything the day after
5) Packed my honey and I leftovers so we had stuff to snack on for the wedding night
6) The lighting and ambiance was beautiful and I loved the fog for our first dance
Lastly, the two greatest things about this venue is 1) it is absolutely beautiful and truly takes you to another world once you drive through the gates and 2) Nico, Vardgas, Dave and Hrach truly made us feel like family every step of the way.

Besides, the new additions to this hall and it having some beautiful rooms and decorations, the venue and experience was completely SHIT. The name of this ballroom apparently is «Le Foyer Ballroom», having never been to this venue it was really confusing to see a huge «A» for «Anoush» written on the wall of the venue. Um okay? First strike there. Can the Valet guys open all doors of the car? Not just the drivers? I almost ate shit walking on my dress because there was no there to help me. Anyways, I love the extra room they have where its a chill lounging area with couches, great place to go to take pictures. The crystal hangings and the disco ball in the main ballroom were beautiful and really added a sparkle to the venue.
Don’t get me started on the food. The appetizers were good, decent… Its Anoush catering, what do you expect? Nothing special, and the cook doesn’t know what he’s doing half the time. First came the Salmon, which was the best part. I had two servings of those. Although when the waiter came by, he had finished the vegetables on the side, and I was waiting to get some, but only got the end of the salmon. Thats okay, I understand, I heard it was stale anyway. Next came the Meats, which had a horrible smell, weren’t edible, or well cooked either. After they brought out Persian food, which should’ve just reached the table at the same time as the other food. After being given 10 minutes of eating time, I see a waiter walking around with a tray of coffee, asking guests if they’d like TEA. Um excuse me? Your waiter skills suck, ask us if we want whats in the tray first. Besides this, the meats and all the food that were brought out late, were still sitting in front of us, giving off a horrible smell and almost made me throw up the coffee I was drinking. Remove the dirty plates, bring new ones, and bring desserts. Its not hard. No fruit plate, and NO CAKE. Apparently the cake was cut already, but the waiters didn’t bother to bring it to the table. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
And it was FREEZING inside of the ballroom. The temperature should be at a considerable amount where its cool enough for the people dancing and drinking… not to the point where people are scrunched up in their seats with heavy coats, and on the verge of getting sick. Seriously, turn down your AC.

He helped out through out the entire 9 months of wedding planning. The food was EXCELLENT. The Staff was AMAZING. The Price was EXCELLENT. We had fog, special lighting, and much more for our first dance. OMG Appetizers were AWESOME! Thank you Nico for everything you have done for us. You are the Best.

Just booked this place for our wedding next year. The place is big and a lot prettier than expected. All the staff were nice and greeted us with a smile. Nico was the manager and he is very friendly and easy to talk to. He is very flexible with request and suggestions and always try to fulfill your wishes.
We just recently did our food tasting to see if we want to use their catering for our wedding and all I can say is we got A LOT more than we expected. I was able to bring my parents, my fiancé’a parents, and my wedding planner and everyone was satisfied with the food. Their meat especially was so tender and almost melts in your mouth. The staff were very patient with us and answered all our questions about the menu.
I am really satisfied with their service and also their prices. I can’t wait for my wedding day.

I came here for my friend’s baby shower and was very impressed with the venue as well as the food! At that time, I was in search of a wedding venue. So I inquired about pricing and other information. I just want to say that the customer service at this place was absolutely fantastic. We spoke to Nico and he was very helpful. He gave us all the information we needed. He was so pleasant to talk to and made us feel at home, which we appreciated as everyone knows how wedding planning can be quite stressful.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful way I was treated by the staff at this venue, specially Nico! After being to soo many different venues I found Le Foyer a breath of fresh air! Nico was such a great help from beginning to end. He was able to address all my concerns and make sure that my event went as smoothly as possible. I have to say that with the stress of planning and trying to make sure all the details are taken care of it’s a great sigh of relief to know that you have support from your venue manager, and Nico came through and exceeded my expectations by going above and beyond. I highly recommend Le Foyer, it feels like home the staff just makes the experience even better!

I recently gotten married… and what a beautiful wedding did we have.
Me and My husband are beyond words grateful to Nico Gonzalez from the day one when we walking into his office till the seconds before I walked down the aisle… he was more that helpful, accommodating, understanding and very very sweet.
We couldn’t have asked a better location to have our wedding at.
The food was beyond words delicious, fresh, and the table presentation was outstanding… all our family and friends were were amazed, and told us how yummy everything was.
The waitress were on point, and extremely helpful and pleasant. Vardges who was overlooking and making sure everything runs smoothly on the night of the wedding was so nice and helpful in every way possible.
ME & MY HUSBAND ARE SOO SOO APPRECIATIVE AND FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING NICO AND HIS TEAM DONE FOR US.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR HALL HERE. Although i have to agree this banquet hall is beautiful in a few aspects, however, I had the WORST experience with nico, the manager there.
He was extremely rude to my fiancé and I. Every time we asked him a question, he would just tell us to «read» or «look at the booklet». Im sorry, I could’ve easily done that on my own at home if I wanted to.
This place is also extremely pricey and they charge you for EVERYTHING! nothing is included in the fee, you have to pay for the fog machine, bridal lounge, AND the projector if you want to have a slideshow, most venues include all that.
Before my fiancé and I leave, his rude remarks were «at least take the pen, that’s free»
I usually never give bad ratings but this has been a terrible experience overall.

I am not one to review often, however my (now) husband and I got married at Le Foyer and we are so happy we chose this venue!
We got engaged on December 25th, 2013 and we literally booked this venue that weekend for December 13, 2014 (12÷13÷14). We are glad we booked almost a year in advance because that date was very popular!
Our wedding was spectacular! From the venue, the food, the drinks and just all the ambience. Hrach and Nico were such a pleasure to work with and ensured all our questions were answered in a timely manner. They also made sure to guide us through the process and made the wedding planning a little less stressful for us.
We received so many compliments from our guests and ’til this day they cannot stop raving about how delicious the food was! We also got the premium drinks and with that we got signature drinks and let me tell you that was so cool! Ed was our bar manager and he was amazing! For cocktail hour, we had a saxophonist while the hors d’oeuvres were being passed out and that helped create such a nice vibe for our guests. The bridal suite we included in our package was also so helpful because my now hubby and I were able to relax there and just look at our guests from the screens in there and take in the moment. And let me tell you, one of the most amazing things we also selected was the fog for our first dance. That was breathtaking in pictures and got our guests so hyped!
Overall, we are so happy to have had our wedding at Le Foyer; It’s such a beautiful venue! Thank you to Hrach, Nico, David (day of coordinator) and Ed (bartender)! It was definitely a beautiful and fun wedding and it’s so nice to say it was my hubby and my wedding:)

We got engaged 07/​2013, we immediately came across Le Foyer and decided to take a tour! My husband (then fiancé) and I booked Le Foyer that August of 2013, for our March 2015 wedding! Nico told us we were his longest engagement that he had booked!
First off, I want to extend an AMAZING thank you to the whole staff: Nico (venue manager) who was with us every step of the way & for listening to my every request, and our catering manager David (for your amazing recommendations in regards to food.)
The staff at Le Foyer took care of us 100%, I cannot stress how amazing our experience was. Our guests were awed by our wedding saying it was the BEST they have been to not only because of how fun it was, but how the venue speaks for itself!
Our wedding was from 5pm-​1am. And everything went smoothly!
We opted for a cocktail hour and we had various appetizers and even a violinist!
We then opened the venue doors into more appetizers and later on the 3 course meal. The servers were very attentive of our guests and no one felt like the food dragged on for hours. Our server took excellent care of us and made sure we had all the food/​drinks we needed!
Our first dance was in the FOG! Yes fog, it looked like we were dancing in the clouds, and the amazing pictures we have are simply breathtaking!
Since we had around 255 guests, Nico recommended we had 2 bars! WOW! And let me say that was an AMAZING idea because our guests were able to drink all that they wanted. One of the bartenders even did a fire show towards the end of the night and everyone was impressed!
We did a food tasting around 5 weeks before the wedding and our experience was great thanks to the catering manager, there were many food options and we loved it all especially the Salmon!!!
I am happy our wedding will be the talk for many years to come!!! Huge portions, amazing venue (chandelier), new dance floor, our GUESTS are still in AWE of our wedding!
Another thing– the LIGHTING… it speaks for itself. Our cake table had a spotlight as well as all our other tables! Our initials were projected behind the sweetheart table & that was a very nice touch!
We also had a bridal suite that was ready with drinks and appetizers! I was starving before our entrance & let me say I am glad we opted for that because our bridal party got to relax in there!
Thank you once again, it was great working with everyone at Le Foyer! I hope we can host another event here in the future!

This venue was pretty awesome! I’ve never been to an Armenian wedding before but they know how to live it up!
Everything was very lavish and bountiful.
$ 7 valet parking. Cocktail hour with cookies and wine or champagne. Appetizers on every table with bottles of alcohol! The food just kept coming. The live music was awesome and made you want to dance the night away.
Very fun wedding in a pretty looking venue!

Was here for a wedding reception over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the venue. Don’t let the outside or location fool you, the inside very nice and was beautifully decorated.
The servers were excellent, from the cocktail hour to the dinner service. At our table we received continuous attention from our servers which was great.
The food was awesome. It was Mediterranean style and everything was very tasty. There seemed to be an endless array of appetizers to choose from. The main dish consisted of a kabob type chicken and beef which were both tender and juicy.
This was a great spot and a nice venue for a wedding reception. It looked liked everyone was having a great time.

Oh Boy! Where do I begin? I had my wedding here back in September of 2014. Let’s just say that until today, people are still raving about my wedding! To keep it short, food was BOMB! HUGE portions, guests couldn’t believe how delicious and generous the food was. The hall’s beauty speaks for itself; Pictures don’t do it justice. The lighting, dance floor, decorations, everything. perfect! In terms of management, Nico is the best! He was so helpful throughout the planning and so accommodating to all of our complicated (& somewhat annoying) requests. The staff always greeted us with a smile and utmost kindness. If I was crazy enough to have a wedding again, I would only do it because the experience working with LA Banquets was the best!

This is NOT a budget friendly venue. Depending on the day of your event, there is a minimum fee $ 14,500 (Fri and Sun). They let you pick and choose what items to delete (e.g. $ 1,400 lighting package, $ 350 digital place cards, etc.) in order to help out with «your budget needs,» yet it is not helpful if you still have to put down their minimum fee.
Don’t get me wrong, the string crystals hanging from the ceiling, built in lighting options, water fountain in the lobby, etc are real nice. I would give it 4 stairs on look alone. The place gets an overall 3 stars due to an ugly stage in the hall and the required minimum fee.

If you want to wow your guests this is the place to do it. I got married here on March 30th 2014. My husband and I absolutely loved everything and enjoyed every moment. NICO, is the best I would recommend having him by your side through out this whole planning process, he makes everything easier and guides you. They offer you the option of having open bar and you can bring your own alcohol for an additional fee however, this is a huge advantage because anywhere else your guests will be paying over $ 8.00 per drink. The décor is amazing. We visited 10 venues and none compared to LE FOYER. They served so much food our guests loved it. The food just keeps on coming!!! We had 15 appetizers, 3 main course, and fruit served at the end.
Bethany was one of our guest and to defend our venue, there was CAKE, a huge cake I might add. If your guests can’t afford to pay $ 7.00 for valet the venue does offer street parking. The dinner started at the time it did because we set it up that way. It wasn’t the coordinator fault, just the way we (the bride and groom) planned it. We weren’t catering to vegetarians because we didn’t want to or had too. We selected what we wanted not what ONE guest wanted. 249 guests loved the food the venue catered, enough said. We selected the music as well. It’s a venue review, not a DJ review, I would discard the previous review because as the Bride I loved everything and so did 249 out of 250 guests. I guess people will never be satisfied.
Overall, Miguel and I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing place to get married. The staff members were extremely nice. I look forward to celebrating future parties at this location. We are extremely grateful and happy that everything was perfect and NICO was a huge part of it. THANKS NICO.

Call them for your next event. Great décor and set up. The place can accommodate a lot of people. The appetizer and food is more than enough for everyone to eat and take home (yeah, it’s really that much food).
They offer valet parking and a smoking patio which is very cool if you wanna have a stogie during an event. I recommend this place to anyone getting married or planning a similar large scale event.
