Prior to planning my wedding, I had absolutely no idea how hellish it is to try and reserve a block of rooms. I figured I’d call a local hotel, speak to someone kind who wanted to accept the money I was offering them, we’d sign a pain-​free contract, and my friends would have a place to sleep off their hangover the night after my wedding.

You set up a phone call with them, you describe the type and location of the hotels you might be looking for, and they get back to you within ten days with a whole list of options. They talk you through all of the hotel contracts, help you make the right decision, they design inserts with the hotel info for your invites, and they send reminder emails to your guests. And I believe their fee was $ 30.

I was searching for a good way about negotiating room blocks for our guests for our wedding this past May and was doing a google search and was so happy I came across JC Room Blocks. After reading some of the reviews on WeddingWire and reading more about the business on their website, I decided to work through them to help arrange a room block for our guests and we are so glad we did.
Jenny and Catherine are the owners of this great business and did a great job of explaining the process through our first phone call and helped answer any questions we had. From here, we moved on to email communication and helped setup our first room block in one of the local Pasadena hotels.
As we were getting closer, we began hearing comments from our guests saying the hotel may be undergoing renovations and that water was going to be shut off. I decided to contact Jenny and Catherine once again to see what we could do about this. After a couple of emails back and forth, Catherine helped move our block to another hotel and was still able to get us a great price with less than two weeks to our wedding day. I was amazed with their level of service and attentiveness to our needs and concerns. We never received a «no» or «its too late» and they did their best to make the transition as smooth as possible.
