I have taken all of my cars to GNS and bought all of my cars from them over the last 25 years. I found them by accident when I was looking for a light for my Mercedes. I have been with them ever since. My cars have always been taken care and leave the shop always looking like new and I never have to worry about the safety of my car. Socko is brilliant and there is nothing he does not know about cars. It is the personal touch that he and his father and brother Joe give you that counts the most. They are family! If you want and honest and great car repair shop GO TO GNS!

Alex is super nice! I pulled in needing some air in my tires and he helped me without a charge. The owner seems helpful and nice also!

I have been a loyal customer of Sako’s for over 10yrs. He handled every single repair to my ’99 GMC Yukon Denali (now sold), ’99 Audi A4 (now sold), and 2010 Honda Pilot. He handles everything from mechanical problems, electrical mysteries, and body work (collision and upgrade installation). The man knows his cars!
I’ve used him reliably for my Audi A4. He understands the German car and recognizes symptoms over the phone. As the car got older the more repairs were needed. Outside of the routine maintenance that I performed, Sako handled all the repairs and major service. The car was pristine inside and out and sounded better than most cars over 5yrs old — it was 15yrs in operation. Sadly I sold the car so that I could get some trade-​in value for it – and that I did even with 195k miles on the odometer.
Sako is an incredible mechanic and a master at body work. More than that he is a friend and I trust him to take care of my wife, family, and friends as customers. He has never overcharged, and has always done the job right. He has a small operation and can at times take longer than promised. Whenever he does take longer, it’s not a problem because I know he will fix the problem properly and not overcharge me.

Sako is awesome. My family has been taking our cars there since before I was born! He does great work and fast. Very fast. Honest mechanic. If he does work on your car you won’t have to bring it back for a while. He can do work on any car. I would call beforehand to let him know your car and what’s wrong with it. 1. Because he has a lot of cars he’s working on because he’s so popular 2. He could order the parts so you don’t have to wait as long.

So blessed to have been turned onto Sako many years ago, He’s helped me through all the dumb things I’ve done to every car (i.e. knocking off the side view mirror of a brand new Lexus with a trash can). Always honest, helpful, fast and you can NEVER tell that any work has been done. Car always comes out perfect. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

We’ve been taking our cars to Sako for almost 20 years — He is the best. Honest, reliable, efficient. I would never go anywhere else. As other people say, Sako is the greatest!

I have a 1992 gold (cashmere) BMW 325IC. Saco has been my technician since I moved to LA 7 years ago. Now he also services my partner’s car. As I said in my original review, the most important component of any business relationship is trust. And the definition of trust is GNS.

Sako is the Greatest! Honest, the turnaround time is great, and believe me with the problems I’ve been having with my Jeep any other mechanic would have told me to F off by now! Sako on the other hand, has been patient, and has tried everything he can to work with me to get what I need done as soon as possible. I fully support this shop. %100. no if ands or buts about it.
ALSO, I see people commenting about oil change prices… Well, Honestly can’t blame the prices for being a little higher. It’s a small shop that predominantly deals with big auto repairs. So if all you want is an oil change you’re gonna have to pay for the time!

Friends, what is an honest mechanic worth to you? One that can work on your luxury import or your primadonna sports car? How about one that charges the lowest hourly rate in town for labor?
Sako, the owner of this place found nothing wrong with my car when others (I won’t name names) were ready to charge my BMW (Bring Money Willingly) an arm and a leg for unnecessary repairs. I heard a sound, came in for another opinion and found Sako. He found that it was just the plastic coming apart from my wheel well. He fixed me up gratis. Who in the heck does this kind of good deed in this day and age? A mechanic? Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it?
I have spied many a nice cars at GNS driven in from the west side from car owners who know what hell they are doing. Porsche, Honda, Lexus and Mustangs are all raised up and being resurrected at the same time. Sako will explain problems to you in a language that even we blond musicians can understand. He will show you your old parts, the empty box from the new parts, and how many miles are left on your brakes and why.
Sako will proudly show you the pictures of his beautiful family, shake your hand, look you in the eye and take very good care of your ride without taking advantage of your wallet.

I like this auto repair shop he does the job and works very well. I take all my cars there and they work fantastic!!! The only complain I have is the amount he charges for oil changes which is $ 40 I think that is too expensive for a freaking oil change; other than that he is A-​OK
