Had several antiques reupholstered that I had purchased at flea markets. I brought my own fabric and also asked him to make the interiors of the cushions nicer. The results far exceeded my expectations and he was half the cost of other upholsterers. Very nice gentleman to boot. Highly recommended!

Terrible experience. I engaged Gabe to make 2 simple box-style, square cushions for a lounge chair. Can’t imagine anything easier. I provided fabric and clear dimensions/thickness and even reference photos illustrating what they should look like. Gabe ignored(admittedly!) my photos and dimensions and invented tapered/rounded shaped cushions, and made them 5″ too wide and 2″ too thick – and of course consumed all of my fabric in the process. He argued, refused to remake them, and told me I was being fussy(really? they don’t come close to the dimensions requested!). Wasted $ 100 on fabric and weeks of time on Gabe’s nonsense. Never again.

I’ve been using Gabe for years, and he is the best. Courteous and professional, he is easy to work with. He has lots of fabric samples or you can bring your own. Don’t be dismayed by the look of the shop. They turn out a very professional product at a reasonable price.
