I needed to get a smog test, I was there maybe 15 minutes max. Quick and easy service, clean waiting room, Ed is the best very helpful and kind. After my lovely smog test experience I will definitely be back for future car maintenance. Highly recommend this place!

So I stopped into Ed’s Smog Test 30 minutes before they close. This was not a problem for the owner and he took my car in right away. My smog test was done in about 10 minutes and I was on my way.

Was looking to get my new purchase of a 1998 Honda Civic smogged before having to be at work at 9am. Not a lot of places would even smog a car below 2000, and the ones that would didn’t open til 9am. I called Eds, they were open and could do the job. Ed was very informative over the phone about their pricing. When I arrived he showed legitimate concern for me and my vehicle, checking the computer first and foremost to make sure it hadn’t been tampered with. He kept me up to date throughout the process, then when he saw I was « Unilocaling» he offered a discount even though my car is old, that’s good business! The car passed and the job took 10 minutes tops. Results were sent directly to the DMV electronically and the staff was very friendly! I will be recommending Ed for smog, and Mike’s auto repair which is all part of Ed’s spot :)

I had to get a smog test for my car even though it’s brand new. But I bought it out of state so I came Monday morning before I went to the DMV and it literally only took 15 min and I found a coupon online so it was fairly cheap.

Best experience ever. I called the morning of to get a smog check. I went in and was immediately greeted and helped. They checked my car and I was out in less than 30 minutes. Ed was super helpful and kind. They also do auto body work and car repairs. I feel completely comfortable going back to them for any of my car needs. Highly recommend!

I arrived at a 5 star smog test just 1000 feet down the road and they were not open until 9AM so I checked reviews and saw Ed’s was open and had decent reviews. They also had the same deal for $ 30.

That’s what I call service. The work that was performed on my car that day was a smog test. The automotive technician informed me that my wait time will be under 20 minutes. He actually finished the job sooner. When the test was completed, the owner, Edi Alksanian, carefully went over all the paperwork and informed me that they have electronically sent the required information to the Department of Motor Vehicles. It’s a nice touch to see an owner who truly cares about their customers. Do not waste your time with other smog test centers. I was getting my friends car smogged today and came across this place by my house. I had amazing service!!! Edi was so nice n helpful, and my car was ready in 10 mins!!! And for the lowest price! I wish I took my car here I paid I double for mine! I would give this place 10 stars if I could :) oh and waiting room was nice n cool with refreshments :)

This morning I stopped at another nearby smog check down the street that had 5 stars and over 500 reviews on Unilocal.I arrived at said location at 9:00am (when they are supposed to open) but no one was there. By 9:15, the doors were still locked and not a soul inside. There were already 3 other people waiting ahead of me and in a location where there was nowhere to park with all the nearby street parking taken, I looked up the next closest smog check.
Enter Eds Smog Test. It was just on the other side of Vineland and they also had a special Unilocal deal for $ 30, same as the other place. I pulled into their parking lot (it’s a bit packed but that’s because there’s also a body shop and repairs in that little nook). 15 minutes later, my car passed the check and I was on my way. They are super fast, friendly and efficient.

Quick and easy service with no waiting or having to leave and come back, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable waiting room. Will definitely go back for any and all services to my cars.
I did, however, find it a little strange that they told me they would only give me a «huge discount» on my smog test if I wrote them a Unilocal review, but their website clearly states that all smog tests for 2000 – 2015 cars (under which category my car falls) are $ 30, which is what I was charged. So really I wasn’t given a discount… I dunno, maybe some miscommunication there, but definitely not enough to keep me from going back.

The annual flabbergasting from the DMV arrived in the mail last month, notifying me of the state’s grimy mitts digging deeper into my coffers to fill it’s own. Indignant procrastination led to panic when I checked payment due date and realized it was fast approaching AND I needed a smog test. I asked the all-​knowing Google for advice, and the answer was «Ed». I called at 8:30am. Ed said, «Come on down». I sped down the road, dodging cyclists and the morning commuters and made Ed’s by 8:45. «Go get some coffee, we’ll be done when your cup is empty.» The waiting room walls showcased framed certifications and celebrity head shots. The Keurig spat out brown into my dixie cup, and I pulled an aggressive sip, burning my tongue. I read some of the names and tried to place the celebs to films, and drew blank. As I cupped my lip for another sip, Ed walked in. «You’re all set, your truck passed.» Sign, pay, drive, and home by 9am. The check is in the mail, Mr. Brown.
Excellent service, friendly, quick. I’m lucky the truck passed, making the experience painless. Don’t have to see Ed again for two years, but I’ll be back.

I came here as an unplanned to do for my smog test and I didn’t need to rely on a coupon but still had a really good price. Ed, the owner let me hang out at the customer spot that was air conditioned with drinks and comfortable seating.
I rarely like dealing with auto folks cause it’s a different language for me and it doesn’t feel like they value my business but this place should be one of your first stops for any car-​related stuff!

I came in for a quick smog check and got so much more! Edi was helpful and funny from the get-​go. The waiting room was clean, had refreshments and a comfy couch for me to enjoy while I waited.
After paying a reasonable fee for my smog check Edi brought up my missing mirror on the passenger side I’ve been trying to replace for quite some time now. He took a look at it along with the mirror I purchased a few months back that I knew wouldn’t work without a backing plate. He gave me suggestions and showed me where the damage truly was on my car, then offered to find me some options on replacements and said he would call with pricing.
He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I would definitely consider coming to him if anything goes wrong with my car in the future.
