I voluntarily decided that I needed help and attended Breakthough management to assist me with anger management issues. Anger was controlling my life and emotions and I needed professional help. Maria Vega’s one-​on-​one coaching allowed me to see the my obstacles as opportunities and learn ways to improve. I managed to salvage many relationships I was in the process of destroying through her mentorship. If you are considering going to anger management, you need someone like Maria who has experience, knowledge, and doesn’t judge your mentality or situation. She is honest, understanding, and leaves me feeling positive and in more control after her sessions. I am currently attending classes via court ordered instructions. Personally It’s a challenge for me to attend at times but when I do go I come out with a different positive outlook. I definitely would recommend using «Breakthrough».

This is a MUST attend for anyone interested in becoming a better human being and creating a better relationship/​understanding of yourself and creating better relationships with everyone you encounter in life. Period. Even if you think you have great relationships all around, you will definitely learn how to enhance those. I guarantee! I have only been to 3 classes so far and WHOOAA! No one is telling me to write this and no one told me about this program. I researched an ‘Anger Management’ class myself and chose to give this one a try really kind of begrudgingly. All I can say is that because the title «Anger Management» has a negative connotation in our society, this class should be called «Managing your emotions, increasing self-​awareness, and communicating effectively» class or something to that extent. From the very first class when I walked in and heard that first, the way we each deal with the emotion of Anger comes from our parents and that this learned behavior can be changed I was hooked. I also asked a trick question when I walked in «Can we get rid of anger?» and of course Maria said «no» and from that moment on I was all ears. Not only do you learn that Anger is merely a signal that your needs are not being met, but you also learn Stress Management techniques, develop emotional intelligence skills, and become a more effective communicator. Most importantly, you learn about yourself and what you can do and how you can respond in ANY situation, good or bad, whether someone is verbally getting angry with you or not. This class should be a pre-​requisite to life or whenever the cognitive skills develop in children, and I am now determined to make that happen! Thank you Maria and Rosa for teaching and inspiring us and the rest of the WORLD how to become more peaceful first as individuals and of course affecting society as a whole. You guys have a great life mission! Keep up the great work!

The instructor knows the material and presents it well. I was a self-​referred student who attended 10 classes. I recommend attending multiple sessions because they truly vary day to day. I think everyone can benefit from this class and improve their relationships.
