Anthem Blue Cross

Upon subscribing to Anthem almost a year ago-​they had assured me that my doctor was under their plan-​I asked several times as I was awaiting approval for back surgery that they took over a year to approve and gave me the run around. So hear we are again-​still angered about their tactics in delaying surgical approvals I had drilled them regarding my primary doctor-​once signed up and contracted for 1 year I discovered these liars once again pulled a fast one and my doctor was not accepting blue cross, then I noticed that they did not put the correct primary doctor. I called twice gave them the correction and they sent me out two insurance cards again not stating the correct doctor. As far as I am concerned this company is as dishonest as they come. I have had to pay out of pocket for doctor for their mistake as I would have never selected and insurance group that my doctor did not take.

Wish I could give them a negative. If you’re thinking about signing up with them, Don’t! It’s impossible to speak with a real person and the website does not work at all. They sent me a registration form in order to get my member number, which only can be activated online and their website says «please try again later were experiencing technical difficulties». For the past two week! Really? And to top it off you can’t speak with anyone on the phone if you don’t have a member ID? #DontDoIt.

Worst company EVER!
My boss has been put into collections THREE times since he died OVER 2 years ago & for charges that were paid for by his family NOT Anthem! They have been provided with proof MULTIPLE times & every time they end up sending a letter saying no payment is due. Sure enough 6 months later we get another letter from collections.
After spending OVER 2 hours on hold to speak with an Anthem representative I was told that she’d have to «verify my claim with the collection agency»
SERIOUSLY?!? It’s YOUR company that keeps putting it into collections. Maybe if you had your crap together you could verify that WITHIN your own company!!!
COMPLETELY REPREHENSIBLE!!!

I hate this insurance company. I’ve been calling for weeks trying to resolve a coverage dispute. Each time I am on hold for no less than 30 minutes. Transferred several times. I did however get through to a person named Joe. He helped me, but I’m still waiting for a return call to resolve this issue. I hate them. I really do.

Unfortunately, I am still on hold for an hour and a half. My premium changed without my knowledge and trying to cancel is impossible at this moment. Im Stuck!!! I want FREE Obama Care!!! Is there anyone who is Honest in the Healthcare Industry? Being charged Double from what I signed up for. Healthcare in the US I realize. Is a complete scam. Starting with Blue Cross.

i have been enrolled for some time now. they are very quick to take $ from my paycheck for my membership, but their website is 100% user unfriendly. i can’t replace my lost card which i need to avail myself of the services i pay for every month. of course this is good for the company because they can continue to collect & never pay for the services. i can’t cancel the insurance because obamacare has made it a crime to not have insurance.

So bad… they don’t even deserve my review!

THEY ABSOLUTELY SUCK! wherever you go you aren’t covered, and If you pick a primary care physician they change it (without your knowledge or approval) on you anyway and you aren’t covered.
What good are they… Good at taking your money!

This is with Anthem Blue in general not this facility. Me and my husband have a know 1 year old and when she was born we did not put her in on time so when we did try it was hell. They gave us the run around over and over gain. We’d do what they wanted to only have to turn more papers in. And in the end the ended up telling us that we had to pay a lot more because she was diagnosed with a heart murmur which by the way was a tiny whole in her heart that the doctors assured us would close and there would be no complications. They where so rude about everything and treated us awful. Our baby is now 1 and she has to catch up to all the shots she didn’t get when we stopped taking her by 6 months cause the peditricians office wanted to get paid upfront now and i wanted to sort things out. In the end we got stuck with the bill and they still have the nerve to still send us letters to get back with them. Just makes me more mad, that’s why I decided to warn you all. Good luck
