This review is long overdue. I don’t even live in California anymore! When I was living in LA I was involved in an automobile accident that was not my fault. I took my car to an Auto Body shop that my auto insurance recommended. After assessing the damages that Auto Body company sent the estimate to my auto insurance. My auto insurance deemed my car a total loss and gave me 2 options; they would cut me a check and take full possession of the car or they would cut me a smaller check and let me keep the car with a salvaged title. I asked if I could get some more estimates from some other Auto Body shops, they said ok. I took my car to A&E Auto Body after their assessment they offered to fix it for significantly less. I had them fax over their assessment, yet my insurance still denied to pay for it, even though they were willing to fix it for well less than the total calculated value of the car. So what did I do? I chose option 2. I kept my car, let my insurance cut me a check, got my car fixed by A&E, and ended up pocketing over $ 1,500 from my auto insurance. I told my insurance, «You guys know I’m going to profit off of this right?». They said they were aware and said it is actually pretty common. Either way, A&E was absolutely fantastic to work with! It’s a family owned company, Father/​Son. When I dropped off my vehicle they gave me a ride back to my house and when my car was finished they came and picked me up from my house. It only took them about 1 week which was within the time frame they gave me when I dropped the car off. There were no hidden fees or additional charges. I’m telling you, these guys were/​are GREAT!!! I highly recommend using this company for ANY auto body work! I will upload before and after pictures so you can see for yourselves!

Clean work! Very friendly! Also very reasonable! My car is a very hard color to match but when i came back to pick up my car i couldnt even tell it had been painted! Fantastic Job and i would highly recommend A & E Auto Body to all my friends and family!

First off, they’ve done a great job on the body work on my car for a reasonable price and they were helpful, but my biggest mistake was having them change my brake pads. My brake has been stiff ever since and didn’t really think nothing of it until 2wks ago my brakes kept locking. Of course since A&E were the last one to do any service on my car I’m gonna take it to them and before I did, my friends and I made sure it wasn’t my transmission or anything major. I had my car towed to A&E and the next day Sean told me my car is next door at Affordable Care and I needed my power booster and brake master cylinder replaced and normally it’ll cost $ 1500, but they’ll give it to me for $ 650! Alarms were going off in my head about the price and the fact that I wasn’t made aware they were taking my car next door until after because they ONLY do body work! They were persistent on keeping my car next door until the next morning by telling me it’s already closed! I refused to let my car sit there so I did my research and got a second opinion and got my car out of there asap! It turned out my power booster didn’t need a replacement because they rarely go out in Toyotas and the fluid in my master cylinder was contaminated.

I go here every time I need any work done on my car. Sean and Arthur are awesome guys and do amazing work for a very reasonable price. I would never go anywhere else.

Unlike Lot, the fella tasked with finding 10 honest men in Sodom, I’ve been trying to find just 1 honest auto mechanic in Los Angeles. After many attempts over many years, I must report that I have yet to achieve this formidable goal. However, during this search I have also had occasion to seek the services of an honest, competent body shop. Under the circumstances (living in Los Angeles) I am astonished to be able to report that I have found just such a facility – A&E Body Shop in North Hollywood. However, to say that A&E is merely honest and competent does them a disservice. The good folks at A&E greatly exceed these basic requirements. On each occasion I’ve needed bodywork, the owner, Shawn, his son, Art, and the A&E team have not only returned my car to pristine condition but also restored my faith in humanity. It’s no trick to find experts who, for a pretty penny, fill the potholes on your road through life but finding experts who do so for the best price in LA, go out of their way to correct your other minor concerns gratis while treating you like family is quite a trick. This is what you can expect from A&E. A&E works on anything from 20 year old Toyotas to late model Rolls-​Royces so you know that whatever you drive, if you break it they can fix it at a really good price,
Now, regarding their habit of going above and beyond run-​of-​the-​mill customer service, perhaps you would like to hear some particulars. Shortly after getting my BMW, I sped over the drainage channel at? at too high a speed which brought down the overhead console. The attachment clips had broken and could not be repaired. The entire console had to be replaced for a cost of several hundred dollars. One shop advised gluing the unit back in place. I was not happy with the replacement cost or the glue idea so I took my problem to Art at A&E. After going the extra mile researching prices from his usual sources, he took exception to the prices he was quoted. Instead, on his own volition he sourced a good-​as-​new unit for hundreds less! Naturally, I appreciated the effort. On another occasion, while I was in for some minor body work, I mentioned that I was seeing a warning signal on my dash. Again, without any encouragement from me, Art took the car to a mechanic who identified the problem. I could go on but I think you get the picture.
Next time you’re in need of bodywork and don’t want to be treated like you wear a skirt, even if you do, remember that you have friends in the business at A&E! Tell ‘em Stevereno sent you. They’ll treat you like family!

Arthur has always been so easy to work with. He takes care of all of the insurance stuff so that you don’t have to worry about anything. Their work has been top notch and they also back up their work/​repairs with a warranty.
Prices are also VERY reasonable for doing repairs without insurance.

A & E was great! They took care of everything in a very timely and professional manner. My car looks like new! Definitely would recommend using them.

I was lead to A & E Auto Body by my previous mechanic (Hatch from Burbank Auto Electric, an awesome guy! (818−508−0457) My car is a new Honda and never needs repair. I went to hatch for a recommendation. Hatch recommended Arthur and his Dad as two of the most honest people in the auto body business. Boy, was Hatch correct. From the beginning, stopping by for an estimate to the picking up of my car upon completion — I was thrilled to have such attention paid to my service needs. Not only did they fix the body of the car perfectly. Arthur and I toyed with the idea to add some pin strips to my lovely yet ordinary Honda Accord. We painted the wheel rims grey and Arthur’s Dad did a terrific job designing the grey pin strips, adding an elegant and mondern look. The car now looks like an Audi so many of my guy friends say. It’s stylish and has just the hint of cool that I was looking for. Consider pin stripes, it’s an affordable way to be a standout among the rest. Arthur even sanded and painted my rims for a more then reasonable price and well worth the slight extra. I was helped with the rental car services lead and every hopeful outcome came true for me and my car thanks to A & E Auto Body. I want to thank you guys with all my heart for your integrity and thero completion of my car. P. S. I too love the car grill you installed to keep the rocks out of my front engine area. I took my 2011 Jetta in for some work after a collision. My hood was dented up a bit and had some significant scratches. Sean and Arthur did an excellent job with everything. Not only does my car look as good as new (its basically impossible to see where the scratches were), but they did such a good job of detailing that its fair to say my car looks better now than it did before the accident. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience.
