77 Asian Kitchen

YUCK! I’ve been around the block for both phở and boba and this is the worst I’ve had of both! Phở is completely flavorless. Noodles were choppy. The boba was stale and tasted as if it had just been dethawed from the freezer. VERY UNIMPRESSED and far from authentic. Not to mention overpriced for what it is. The quality of food tastes more like fast food grade.

Was so disappointed with this place. I was first attracted to their signs saying they had phở, ramen, and sushi… i thought variety? GREAT. We ordered chicken ramen, orange chicken and an alaska roll.
The chicken was a big portion but it was just a bunch of chewy dark meat chicken in a thick batter smothered with a syrupy sweet sauce. Pass.
The ramen broth was very bland and there was really nothing special about the dish. The sushi roll did not taste fresh and i regretted ordering it.
The service was below average and our waitress couldn’t have been less welcoming. The place also looked like it could’ve have used some cleaning up. Seats felt sticky.
Overall, I felt like i should have gone somewhere else to eat fresh, better quality food.

Love this place! Never a let down! Always order sushi for delivery to my work!

Salmon lover’s roll and Philadelphia roll are my absolute favorites

My friends and I decided to take a walk and pick a place to eat along the way. We passed a Salvadorian restaurant that looked pretty good and we almost ate there. However, when I went to push open the door, my friend pointed out that the health code rating was a «B». My other friend said that he thought a «B» was pretty good. He told me that if he got a «B» on a test in school, he would feel pretty good about it. My other friend asked if he would feel good about he «B» on the test if the grading were on a bell curve — he said we would still feel pretty good about it. I thought about other restaurants in the area and realized that all the other restaurants has «A» ratings and that made me feel uncomfortable about eating at the Salvadorian restaurant. My mind started racing, thinking about all the things that could have happened in the kitchen to give them a lower health rating. Who knows what their stirring the sauce pots with?!
We kept walking and ended up at 77 Asian Kitchen — it was pretty good.

I’m begrudgingly giving this place only two stars. I haven’t ordered my food yet because I insisted on having chili in oil (not garlic) which they didn’t have. I went to two places nearby that didn’t have it either. I ended up settling on ground chili paste (non garlic) and came back.
I should have just left.
Upon inspecting the menu it turns out they don’t even have tripe here. Are you kidding me? What is the point??? This place is misleading because of the traditional Asian décor and Asian people working here but it’s a f*ck-all mess of nontraditional BS. They play hit music (???) and random country music (???)
The food came quick at least. I settled on the may garlic ramen. It’s pretty good. For ramen.
I wouldn’t suggest this place to be honest. Unless you’re super white and like to pretend you’re culturally knowledgeable. I may update my review if the taro slushie I order later is terrible. If I don’t update this review, the slushie was acceptable.
EDIT: let’s be honest. Taro smoothies trump taro slushies. It’s okay. But the tapioca pearls were so bad that I changed my rating to a single star.
I officially will never come back.

I luv this place I only go for the phone soup it’s an A+ best in town so far .and just how I order i just don’t pay né mind to the girl who gives me strange eye in what I order… like shut up annoying Ru paying for my food so No. its only her that makes a deal in my order .but other than that I luv there phở

Got delivery sushi. Not bad for delivery sushi. I imagine this’ll be my «too lazy to go out» sushi spot from here on out.
Lazy sushi is the best sushi. Well, lazy when I’m ordering it. Lazy when making it probably sucks. Which it didn’t. So that’s good.
Inspirational moment: Make a «Lazy roll» and credit me with the title. Now we’re cooking with gas bro.

Ordered pick up: pineapple curry rice, fatty pork (pork belly) ramen and a taro slush $ 30.48
Usually I stick to the phở but decided to try something new.
Not doing that again :(
I ordered tofu with my ramen. The cashier repeated it back to me and advised me there’s an additional charge.
I get home… no tofu.
Very small amount of noodles and the broth was OK.
But what hurt me the most was there were only 2 slices of pork belly! Ouch!
Opened my box of fried rice and guess what I find…
Fried tofu! Ahhhh
The curry was nice, not spicy at all. Came with pineapple bits, chicken and TWO shrimp. Womp womp wwwooommppp

Why all the negativity? Have to admit some of the nay Unilocal and Snugs’ philosophy («place that tries to do everything just winds up doing nothing great») kept us from trying it out. So we always drove by as we went to Hayat… until tonight. Snugs’ meeting ran late. The kids were cranky. The great thing about a place like this is that on some days not everyone wants one thing. Turns out they do many thins pretty darn well! The kids slurped down the ramen; and my Singapore noodle was truly tasty. And it was HUGE! It was enough for like four people. No exaggeration. The leftover was a hit. Even Snugs and his sis (who are half Singaporean mind you) genuinely approved.
Service was attentive and friendly. When the senior waitress saw the plate of burnt dumplings the jr waitress had mindlessly plunked down on our table, she commented, «oh no, you cant have that!» and immediately ordered a replacement batch. What more do you want for 5.99 dumplings? And a genuinely friendly goodbye from the staff as we strolled out with our many leftover boxes…

This is honestly my go to for wonton soup egg rice and shrimp chow mein. I promise you won’t be let down!

Been here twice and only gets better. Phở and Ramen are the stengths of this place. Had great lunch time service both times and the food very authentic and beautifully done. Especially the special Ramen dishes. I had the Mayo Ramen and broth superb.
There is sushi and Chinese served but much more generic than the hard core soups. Stay with their focus and you won’t be disappointed.

My buddy and I ran into this place by chance. He wanted some Ramen and I wanted Sushi. It worked out to perfection because they served both!
We were greeted at the front and told to sit anywhere and then our server Shan immediately attended to us and took our order.
I asked her what she recommended for Sushi and she mentioned the Naruto Roll (Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Avocado wrapped in Cucumber. No rice). It was delicious!
I also had the Chicken Ramen. That was pretty good too. Definitely happy with this place. If I’m in this area again, I will be coming back to try their Phở.

No bad, came here for a quick Phở fix, not the best but also not the worst. Also got a Togo order of ramen, they charge $ 1.00 for Togo, that’s kinda odd.

I am giving this place for stars because of the food and flavor. This place may not be much to look at, but the two waitresses that work there are friendly and work really hard. The Phở soups and Ramen noodles are one of the best I’ve tasted. (And I’ve tried Phở everywhere I go) I think they have resolved most of the service issues some people mention. Seems to be operating smoothly now.
The sushi is not bad either. Small portions, but tasty. The Chinese food is an average «ok» for the price
I would definitely recommend this place to get your Phở on!

So good! Came here a year after they opened and was ok but the food is getting better and better over time! Staff is friendly too! And love the variety of the menu. I don’t have to go searching for different places when it’s all here!

«Bad service makes good food taste bad». This is what I think of when we went here.
Server asked us for drinks without even looking at us. Walked away as I was talking. We both ordered soup, which my miso came right away but the hubby’s didn’t come until he got his food. I had all my food before he got his soup and entrée. I never got more iced tea, and she saw it was empty. I had to ask for chop sticks. etc
I ordered one more order of sushi, she brought it and brought my check. what if we were not done ordering? I hate that more than anything. When a server drops checks with food, she is basically telling you, Im not coming back. She saw that I was annoyed!
Food was just ok, but I truly hate bad service.

I was craving some ramen and this was the only place that has it and delivers in my area.
I got so turned off about this place because of the person I was speaking to at other end of the line. He was downright rude. He sounded as if someone important was on hold and he was trying to rush my order! Im all about first impression honey!
The ramen was alright. Ive had better. If you want extra toppings, THEY ARE EXPENSIVE! Extra Pork Cha Su for $ 4.00? Crazy!

I want to give them props, but I cannot. There’s no excuse for over priced phở and overcooked sliced steak for your phở. I caught an ‘older’ pic of the menu and decided to try it. However, the menu I saw on Unilocal previously and what they had at the restaurant was different, like night and day.
$ 8.99 for large phở, not good. Given Phở So and Phở 999 here in the valley have $ 5.95 to $ 6.95 respectfully. Waiting 30 MINUTES for mediocre phở isn’t cool… especially when the cashier tells you «10 minutes». Again, Phở So and Phở 999 get your order out, whether dine in or take out, quick! Not 77 Asian Kitchen. Surcharge for credit card use? ok, i’ll give them credit for that… BUT surcharge for TO-​GO/​TAKEOUT orders!!! Ok, that’s where I draw the line. When an Asian restaurant starts serving different items, like sushi, ramen, chinese, phở, etc? Maybe it’s best to steer clear.
I do not recommend this place, ever. Even if you are desperate for phở, go to Phở 999 or Phở So – the drive is worth it.
At least they were nice enough to give me a glass of water while I waited… Who knows, maybe they charged me for it, I didn’t check the receipt if they did. HAH!

Server was not attentive.
Never got the water I ordered & when I asked about it again she said to be patient.? When right before that she was just cleaning tables the whole time. (That were not even used)
Black dragon roll was really good. The only thing I liked about my experience.

Well it’s a cold day outside, I decided to try this place, the phở 77 special is delicious, the broth is clear and not to over salted, just right for a small cold in a rainy day…
By checking in for the first time I got a dessert, all u need to do is show it to the waitress and she will bring the dessert no questions asked.
The ambience is quiet, even do there several patrons while I was eating my delicious phở.
The only thing that should be added is maybe some type of music pleasant to the dinners, and maybe some more plants since it’s so bare…
