History

Established in 2012.

SAFTA was created by Marine Corps Veterans, retired law enforcement agents, and private security veterans who felt the need to enhance Northern California’s security officer training requirements as well as civilian training in the carrying of concealed firearms.

SAFTA’s current faculty members have worked with the State of California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services for over 40 years, and have been instrumental in writing numerous training manuals which are still in use today.

SAFTA’s promise to its clients is to train each individual with respect and to give special attention to those who require it. Each student is considered special to us and we will always be available to current and former students as a resource, whether the need is for training, information, or professional guidance.
