Norm’s Wallpapering & Paper Removal

I had Norm hang wallpaper in my kitchen. He was on time and very courteous. He’s been doing wallpaper for many years so he knows what he is doing.
If you are not particular about details then Norm would be great. He’s fast and not very expensive. I’m pretty picky about details so he wasn’t a good match for me.
I had to fix several mistakes and I’m still not done. For starters, there were many places that didn’t glue down. It’s wasn’t a big deal and I glued them down myself.
The other mistakes were a bigger deal. There were two places were the wallpaper didn’t meet all the way leaving a small gap between seams. I managed to fix them, but it was work. There was another place where the cut was not straight. I fixed that too. He was sloppy with the glue and got a lot on the ceiling. He told me it would dry clear, but it did not. I will have to touch up where the wall meets the ceiling.
I might use him again because he is honest, punctual and reasonably priced, but I would supervise and watch closely for mistakes. I think if you tell him up front that you are picky about details he would be more careful.
