I went into Payless a few weeks ago go get non slip shoes, I had the particular pair I wanted on already that I bought there a few years ago. Couldn’t find them again so I asked the man at the register, he told me they didn’t have them, and that he can’t order them online and that it’s not his problem they don’t have the same shoes there as they did 2 years ago. I proceeded to tell him he didn’t have to be so rude and walked out of the store. I ordered the shoes I had on, online, they charged me twice and sent me 2 pairs of shoes. After calling them to ask for the return address, they told me to go into the store to return them and hung up on me. I went into the store today, doors open at 10am, I got there a little before noon and the doors were locked. So I went back later and the same man was glued to his phone, didn’t speak to me, and put his hand out to ask for my credit card to refund me money. Handed it back, pointed to where I had to sign and that was it. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Atleast put your phone down if nothing else. Very disappointed

It’s a store everyone is familiar with… this particular location is the same as every Payless. I recently did an online order around Black Friday with an additional 20% off on the two pairs of shoes I bought. I learned that having your purchases shipped to your local Payless store is free(instead of paying the shipping charges to have it delivered to your home). Worked for me. Did take several weeks for the order to arrive but I didn’t really mind. This store called me promptly to inform me my order had arrived. Upon picking up my shoes, staff were pleasant and just had me sign a form that confirmed I had received the items.
