Last I was here, they didn’t have «pick your own,» but they have an outstanding supply of pumpkins in every shape, size and variety. The pumpkins are typically set out on long, handmade, weathered tables and there are hundreds to choose from.
Every year, the proprietor creates a new display involving people with pumpkin heads and the outhouse display is great.
This is a fantastic spot to bring your children and feel like they’re had a quintessential New England experience, especially since the farm is set with a backdrop of two beautiful tobacco barns, old school tractors and a turn of the century farmhouse.
Oh, and that trebuchet? It’s another creation of the proprietor’s. It’s typically set in the field across the street from the farm and is used to periodically lob rotten pumpkins to the great beyond.
