Hampton Airfield is a grass runway located on the seacoast of New Hampshire. We are home to an excellent flight school specializing in tailwheel flying and operating Piper Cubs since 1946. We pride ourselves in offering one on one training in a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Whether your a first timer, or experienced pilot looking to expand your horizons Hampton is the place to come for all your aviation needs.

History

Established in 1946.

In 1946 Hampton Airfield began offering flight training in Piper J3 cubs to GI benefit recipients. Over the years Hampton Airfield has grown, becoming home to over 80 aircraft and multiple aviation related businesses.

Meet the Business Owner

Garrett M.

Business Owner

Garrett is the Owner and a flight instructor at Hampton Airfield Flight School. He began flying at the age of 11. Since then he has been an active member of general aviation, gaining his instructor qualifications in 2008. At the age of 30 he is now the owner of the flight school and the airport manager. Garrett received his BS in business administration from the University of New Hampshire.
