Matt was super-​patient and took the time to explain everything in detail. For some areas of specific concern, he took time out to explore those items as well. I’ve hired him twice, once for commercial, once for a condo, and he did a great job on both engagements, providing the needed photos and written documentation needed to tighten the offer in each case.
NOTE: I hear that Matt has retired, and the business is now being run by his nephew, Geoffrey.

I was forwarded Matt’s info from a list of prospective inspectors for a home I am purchasing within the next few weeks. I contacted multiple companies, hoping for someone that could do a good job. After my research, I felt Matt was a great choice as he not only had lower prices than competitors but also was full of information! His website alone is very thorough and gives a great idea of what to expect in the process of inspections. He has been great with communication, was on top of things and great to work with! And do not be afraid to ask questions! He’s very prompt with responses and very nice as well.

I purchased a newer home last year and had Matt as my inspector. He was referred to me by Redfin. I felt Matt rushed through our home inspection and didn’t have the proper tools on him to do a full detailed inspection. I believe he felt the home was newer so everything would be fine. We’ve caught things since. He also came off rude. I wont be referring his services.
