Some of the best food in the area, at the most reasonable prices. My family and I have been to the Whistle Stop three times, and the staff already know our names and the meals we enjoy. You cannot go to a restaurant in this area and find a better cheeseburger. It can’t be done. They have a variety of different types, all of them good. My daughters are fond of the breakfast meals. Very reasonably priced, in a unique setting. A refurbished train station from many years ago. They are always willing to mix and match for me as well. Went in the other day, ordered the Green Mountain Burger with fries, and asked if I could have some of the hash special instead of the fries. They quickly agreed. Also have a cute ice cream joint on the grounds. Very tasty. All in all, a delicious, inviting, accommodating, locally owned Vermont establishment that is expertly run. Hikers Attention! Those of you travelling the LT or the AT, this should be one of your stops. Trail magic lives here.

Qu’s Whistle Stop served one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten. Four of us dined there and each dish was a cut above the expected. Everything tasted fresh and made with love. Cute little restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food. The corned beef hash, eggs Benedict and pancakes were all amazing. Thank you, Qu’s. We’ll be back!

Breakfast is served all day and this place has my favorite omelette available in town. Very friendly mother & daughter run restaurant. Cute inside. Great food!
